Home to Sheffield Wednesday - all our fans saying the same that it's a proper old school tie. Looking forward to it.

A much improved performance for us. Won 9-8 on penalties but could have quite easily won in the 90 minutes. -
Ryan Lowe Leaves Preston by Mutual Consent

After only one game into the season. You'd think they'd have made the decision before the season started or at least before the first game if they were having doubts about him. -

Football League 2024/25 - 9-12th August, 2024

1-0 loss for us. We've got a few injuries and the Icelandic guy we signed went off injured during the match too. Only losing 1-0 against a team relegated from the higher division isn't too bad. Improved performances needed from a few whilst some showed signs of what they could bring to us. -

Reported (although not sure how accurately because who knows these days) that there are only 2 police forces in England that aren't going to be dealing with some sort of riot or protest tonight. Expecting an announcement from the EFL tomorrow morning saying weekend matches are off if it carries on. There's no way police resources will be made available to cover football matches whilst all of this is kicking off.

Absolutely, count me in!

Really happy with this one

Loving and also hating how good Umbro have been for us this year! Our new third kit.
-
They were originally going to have a weighted system with Championship scoring lower points than the same outcome for a League Two player but looks like that was never implemented in the end.

Now updated for Euro 2024!

Can I have Gloryhunter Honours unarchived please? It needs updating and I can't edit it.

IT'S NOT COMING HOME Apologies for the delay, I've been away on holiday since the final so not had a chance to get it rounded up. Congratulations to @Coma, @Lucas, @Tommy, @Viva la FCB, @Rucksackfranzose, @Stan, @CaaC (John) and @nudge who are all Euro 2024 Champions. @Coma is our Gloryhunter Euro 2024 Champion so their name is engraved in the Hall of Fame which I'm updating now so don't race over there too quickly. Thanks for all taking part - sorry it's been a bit delayed in results. I'm undecided on whether Gloryhunter will come back for the new season but I'll let you all know. As for Gloryhunter 2023/24 - I'm not sure if those results will be out anytime soon. It's taking ages due to the backlog of results!

This is the exact idea I've always wanted turned into a game. The Getaway/The Getaway 2 but modern graphics and the entire world (with DLC I imagine) would be fantastic.

We've just signed Jason Dadi Svanthórsson from Iceland. Absolutely buzzing with this and amazed we've pulled it off. He looks like a really really good player for our level and to have had caps for Iceland too is great!

Onto the Semis! With the semi-finals tonight, let's get up to date. Coma, Lucas & Tommy v Viva la FCB & Rucksackfranzose 05/07 Spain 2 - 1 (AET) Germany QF All at Spain Stan, CaaC (John) & nudge 05/07 Portugal 0 - 1 (Pen) France QF Stays with France Pyfish 06/07 England 2 - 1 (Pen) Switzerland QF Stays with England Spain's win over Germany means @Coma, @Lucas, @Tommy, @Viva la FCB and @Rucksackfranzose are now all grouped together, and they face off against @Stan, @CaaC (John) and @nudge's France this evening. Whoever wins that one will determine who that group support in the final where they'll face off against me which will either be England or Netherlands. Coma, Lucas, Tommy, Viva la FCB & Rucksackfranzose v Stan, CaaC (John) & nudge 09/07 Spain v France SF Pyfish 10/07 Netherlands v England SF It'll either be the big group that win the Euro 2024 title, or me. In terms of the Gloryhunter - Euro 2024 title, that is currently in the hands of Coma but John and myself are also in the running. Coma will win the title if Spain win tonight and win in the final - or if England lose tomorrow. John will win the title if France win tonight and win in the final. I'll win if France and England both win tonight and then England win in the final. If England and Spain win tonight, and England win the competition, it'll go down to goal difference. All of the above permutations are probably wrong. It's early for me.
