The Artful Dodger Posted January 29, 2020 Posted January 29, 2020 Not sure about that one, 33 end of the season.
Cicero Posted January 29, 2020 Author Posted January 29, 2020 Not even fit either. Been injured since December.
Dr. Gonzo Posted January 29, 2020 Posted January 29, 2020 When he's fit he's good, but again - seems like a risk bringing in someone old and who's struggled with injury this season.
Cicero Posted January 29, 2020 Author Posted January 29, 2020 Pedulla, who’s a close correspondent for Napoli, has pretty much down played this rumor.
True Blue Posted January 30, 2020 Posted January 30, 2020 Sky jiizing we made an approach for him. Apparently the deal would cost around 5-6 mill which is cheap, but he is 33 in four months.

Subscriber CaaC (John)+ Posted January 31, 2020 Subscriber Posted January 31, 2020 Dries Mertens to Chelsea update as Frank Lampard battles to secure late Napoli transfer Chelsea were keen on signing the Belgium international. Chelsea’s pursuit of Dries Mertens is over, it has been claimed. The Blues turned their attention to signing the Belgium international earlier this week to alleviate the seemingly imminent departure of Olivier Giroud. Chelsea entered talks with Napoli on Thursday, with reports suggesting negotiations with the Serie A outfit were going well. That, however, no longer seems to be the case. According to Bleacher Report, Mertens won’t be swapping the Stadio San Paolo for Stamford Bridge this month. They claim a deal to see the Belgian to join the Premier League giants is ‘not going to happen’ and that the transfer was always going to be a ‘difficult’ one. Chelsea’s failed pursuit of Mertens almost certainly ends Giroud’s hopes of leaving Stamford Bridge this month. https://www.express.co.uk/sport/football/1236150/Chelsea-Transfer-News-Dries-Mertens-Olivier-Giroud-Frank-Lampard-Deadline-Day

We got Ruben back as well Doubt Ruben will be in contention for at least a good month or so. Giroud is definitely a better player than Michy. He should be used on every occasion unless Tammy is available obviously.

Lampard anticipates him playing U23 matches come the break
True Blue Posted January 31, 2020 Posted January 31, 2020 Just now, Cicero said: Ruben will be like a new signing. Lampard anticipates him playing U23 matches come the break I just pray that his long term injury won't activate an injury prone player in him. Don't rush him until he is 100% fit and match fit. Can't wait for him to be back he would be such a big help if he was fit this season.
Cicero Posted January 31, 2020 Author Posted January 31, 2020 Aaaaan Lampard confirms he’s not coming nor we were interested. More bollocks from Sky
