Aberdeen have literally continued straight from where they left off. Dreadful to watch, ineffective and unabled to control the ball in the midfield.

Won't even start on McInnes once again deciding to literally go man to man marking, and once again fails completely.

Celtic 2-1 Hamilton with just after 30mins gone.

2 goals from the left for Celtic. Edouard and Frimpong scoring. Hamilton's goal was very fortunate though.

Eduoard ends up scoring a hat trick to the delight of every single Fantasy Football player, only then do they realise it makes no difference as everyone has him in their team...

And maybe soon won't be a Celtic player

Saturday's game is probably in doubt now.

Think we'll see a lot of this with random cases affecting a player here and there.

Game is going ahead with eight players going to be missing. 2 have tested positive and 6 in close contact with them. Basically half the first team squad is out.

Further to tonight’s JRG statement, Aberdeen FC confirms that two first team players, who have tested positive for COVID-19 but are asymptomatic, are self-isolating for ten days.

In line with government guidance and procedures from the football authorities, six other players, who were in close proximity with the two positive cases, are also self-isolating for 14 days.

Apparently all 8 in the same bar?

But what I don't understand is that they are the only players that would have been in close contact with the two positive players. If it happened on Monday, maybe it would have been understandable, but it's nearly the end of the week with the club able to have contact training all week.

Either way, the game is off now and probably will be followed by Wednesday's game, if it is a safety concern.

This is why we can't have nice things...

Does it affect Europa League stuff? Sure I saw some new rules for Qualifying rounds saying clubs could face elimination if they don't ensure their players remain 'safe' so to speak?

Seems the government is considering taking action.

If they put a stop to football, all Scottish clubs would concede their European games.

Thanks Aberdeen and Celtic.

Great job. Then we wonder why people say Scottish football is a joke. Absolute shambles.

I've always found people who say "we're the laughing stock of..." a bit weird.

Do you think people in Croatia, Switzerland or Portugal give any thought any Scotland or Scottish football? I don't think they care that much.

Most of the time when someone says that, they're not talking about Croatia, Switzerland or Portugal. They're talking about the rest of the UK who hear the news about Scottish football on Sky Sports News or the BBC website.

I do however suspect there is a strong correlation between people who say that and people who peddle out the likes of 'rent free', 'this is what football's all about' and bottle gifs. It's not worth holding their opinions in any regard, their exposure to Scottish football generally amounts to sitting on their arse watching the Old Firm on Sky however many times a season. If Scotland had the most competitive and best administered structure in the world they wouldn't change their tune.

Scottish football has it's share of ineptitude, farce and whatever else, but England has the EFL / 'fit and proper'; half of the 'big five' European leagues are dominated by one club...

What does need sorting out though is being able to drink in grounds. Wonder which teams caused that to be barred.

Some people obviously care too much about the 3 minutes Adrian Durham thinks about Scottish football each year.
