The game between Atlético and Athletic Club has been postponed due to the weather. The biggest snow storm in Madrid for 50 years and the plane, containing the Athletic players had to divert and fly back to Bilbao.

Safety first and all that jazz. Right decision made.

Griezmann finally starting to play his best.

Messi back scoring at will.

Dembélé staying injury free and playing well.

Pedri just gets better.

Dest more important by the week.

de Jong playing his best football in a Barcelona shirt.

Busquets and Alba doing well.

The signs are there for a much better second half to the season.

Osasuna 0-0 Real Madrid

Honestly, I'm surprised Real are 3 points ahead of Barça this season this far as Barcelona have easily been the better side. Poor finishing and bad defensive errors were a problem, but now we are seeing a much improved side. Messi, Pedri, de Jong, Dest, Griezmann, Dembélé, Busquets, Ter Stegen, Alba, Araújo...it's actually a more talented side than given credit for.

La Liga is still Atlético's to lose though. They are only a point ahead of Real and 4 ahead of Barça, although they have 3 games in hand, which gives them a huge advantage in steering ahead as the season progresses.

With Barcelona's form I honestly don't see Atletico being able to hold onto their lead, to be honest.

On another note, Celta is a completely different and worse side without Aspas or Tapia. Murillo has to be one of the worst CB's to play in a top 5 league ever.

Atlético's form has been great all season in the league and now they are out of the Copa del Rey and won't be playing in the Super Cup mid week, along with having 3 games in hand puts them in poll position. I'd be very surprised if they didn't win it this year, but this Barcelona side won't make it easy for them if they carry on playing as they have.
