Just been catching up on these stories as well. Sounds like some really disgraceful behaviour. Largely if not entirely fuelled by the toxicity that's surrounded the Lewis-Max rivalry. Really no place for any of this shite in F1. Obviously there's no place for it anywhere but F1 has generally been quite family friendly as a spectator sport and you want to see this behaviour getting stamped out in the places it currently happens rather than starting to become more prominent in places you wouldn't expect it. OrangeKhrush Posted July 11, 2022 Share Posted July 11, 2022 alpine and Fernando have to have a heart to heart discussion because Alpine are not up to snuff. the team tried to make out the 10th place as an achievement but for what seems like the 8th time this season the team messed up and in the long run hurting themselves. Alpine should have 4th sewn up by now but find themselves content with "okay" weekend results. i think behind closed doors Alonso needs to speak candidly about what is unacceptable. Must be super frustrating. He'll stick at it though. He had to make a double pitstop under the Virtual Safety car too because a tyre was loose. He probably would have finished 6-8th without that.
