New Croatian signing Beljo shot powerfully goal-wards from outside the area and he forced an excellent save from Hradecky, who turned the ball wide for a corner. New teenage Belgian signing Engels took the corner and his cross was met with an intelligent header from Berisha that beat Hradecky and found the back of the net to give Augsburg the lead.

Augsburg 1-0 Bayer Leverkusen

Augsburg have really impressed and young teenage midfielder Engels has been excellent. Leverkusen have had some dangerous opportunities, but Augsburg have looked just as threatening throughout the match. On this form, I think Augsburg are too strong to be relegated this season.

That's it, the final score is 1-0 to Augsburg. A big win for Augsburg, as they really played well in front of their home support. For Leverkusen, this is their 2nd Bundesliga loss in a row and the coveted top 4 positions in the Bundesliga table look like a very difficult challenge for Leverkusen now. Augsburg on the other hand continue to impress with their performances. I have a feeling that with their astute signings, they have a squad that's strong enough to remain in the Bundesliga for a long time yet.

Fucks sake. 2nd yellow for Freiburg's Sildillia in the 16th minute. :( Looks like Game Over already, surely Dortmund till take advantage of that.

Yeah, that sending off will likely kill the match off now. Dortmund will surely win at home with a one man advantage. They have 73 minutes of normal time, with a one man advantage, plus injury time. Freiburg have got their work really cut out if they are to get anything from this game now.

Kolo Muani scores from a penalty to give Frankfurt an early lead at home against Hertha Berlin.

Weird situation. There was a handball from Hasebe on the other side, and Hertha thought the VAR would award them a penalty, but Frankfurt got one instead. xD

Bochum 1:0 up against Hoffenheim. Nice! :D

Yeah and Kramaric is on the bench for Hoffenheim for some reason. He should always start for Hoffenheim, given how influential he usually is for Hoffenheim. Hoffenheim have really looked to Danish players this season. They already had Robert Skov and Jacob Bruun Larsen in their squad, but they then decided to buy Kasper Dolberg and Thomas Delaney as well, to strengthen their team. Kasper Dolberg, Thomas Delaney and Robert Skov, were all members of Denmark's squad that competed at the 2022 World Cup in Qatar.

Kolo Muanis scored his 2nd goal and Frankfurt's 2nd goal against Hertha Berlin. Lindstrom with the assist for Muani's 2nd goal. Frankfurt are dominating here and it looks like there could be a few more goals for them against this hapless Hertha side.

Good results from Werder point of view so far. Really need to win against Stuttgart tomorrow though, that would be extremely important 3 points...

Maxi Philipp is out with an ankle injury :( it's a pity, I was looking forward to seeing him play.
