Modric at 38 looked knackered and rightfully replaced. By scoring Croatia's goal, Modric became the oldest ever scorer at a European Championships. If Croatia don't make it to the next round, it will be kind of an end of an era for Croatia. I can't see Modric or even Perisic playing at the next World Cup(if Croatia qualify) in 2 years time.
