Eco Posted June 30, 2018 Posted June 30, 2018 Just now, Stan said: I was thinking exactly this . The standard is expectedly average compared to the World Cup. I keeping watching replays of Mbappe while this game is on...I feel like that's a sign.
Eco Posted June 30, 2018 Posted June 30, 2018 Portland take a 1-0 lead on an nice header off of a corner.
Eco Posted June 30, 2018 Posted June 30, 2018 And as we see so often, Seattle ties it up just a few minutes later.
Eco Posted June 30, 2018 Posted June 30, 2018 Now that is a beautiful counter attack...shocking space given to the MLS PoY last year Valeri to make that pass. Great finish from Sam to make it 2-1 to Portland.
Administrator Stan Posted June 30, 2018 Administrator Posted June 30, 2018 Armenteros did that a few weeks ago where he made a great run, cut inside and placed one in with his left foot. I don't get why defenders don't show him on his right. in all the games I watch it always seems to be that games come to life in the 2nd half, as if they realise they can win the game after HT.
Eco Posted June 30, 2018 Posted June 30, 2018 Got it amazes me how dreadful Seattle are. Certain teams in this system should be able to not suck this bad. Seattle is one of those teams.
Administrator Stan Posted June 30, 2018 Administrator Posted June 30, 2018 2-2! Marshall's turn to score from a header.
Administrator Stan Posted June 30, 2018 Administrator Posted June 30, 2018 Mabiala scores again for Portland with a good header from a corner How hard is it to get him double marked?! Seattle are shite.
Eco Posted June 30, 2018 Posted June 30, 2018 Atlanta already up 1-0 on some of the shittiest defending the world has ever seen. I swear my high school team could have stop that goal... Orlando are shit, both the team and the city, and I hope we can put 5-6 past them. Oh, and to no one surprise, the scorer for Atlanta was a young chap named Josef Martinez. 1-0 Atlanta.
Eco Posted July 1, 2018 Posted July 1, 2018 Wonderful counter attack with Martinez and Almiron leading the charge and Josef leading Miguel for another goal. 2-0 Atlanta.
Eco Posted July 1, 2018 Posted July 1, 2018 Almiron with a great shot off the post which falls to the feel of Barco, who slots it home! 3-0 Atlanta
Eco Posted July 1, 2018 Posted July 1, 2018 And Miguel Almiron adds another...4-0 Atlanta. Orlando is absolutely awful.
Eco Posted July 1, 2018 Posted July 1, 2018 Katai with a great goal for Chicago, tying them up 2-2 with NYCFC.
Eco Posted July 1, 2018 Posted July 1, 2018 Katai with another great goal to up the Fire up 3-2 on NYCFC. This would be a perfect result for Atlanta United.
DeadLinesman Posted July 1, 2018 Posted July 1, 2018 Is this the only domestic league being played right now?

I know they play out of season due to NFL etc but the Europeans ones surprise me. Would have though they all followed some UEFA rules/guidelines? Suppose the Scandinavia ones are weather related?

I think the MLS have a one week break but not sure if that's due to World Cup or not.
Administrator Stan Posted July 1, 2018 Administrator Posted July 1, 2018 NYRB take the lead against Toronto. Terrible goal-keeping. Left-back takes a shot, from about 25 yards. The keeper does his best Massimo Taibi impression and it squirms through over the line.
