Guest
What are your favorite ever football moments? Can be a goal, a save, a result whatever really. Mine is England beating Colombia on penalties. Just because it was so tense and we had never won a world cup penalty shoot out before. The Sweden game is second. It was amazing but obviously not as intense as Colombia. Arsenal beating `Roma on penalties in 2009 and Milan at the san siro in 2008 were amazing. And winning the league title in 2002 because it was my first title and going unbeaten was amazing as well

Administrator Stan Posted July 30, 2018 Administrator Share Posted July 30, 2018 1. Pretty much the whole of the 15/16 season 2. All the Champions League games (bar getting dicked on by Porto) resulting in getting to the Quarter-Finals in 16/17 season. 3. Vardy's volley vs Liverpool in Feb 2016 4. Beating Man Utd 5-3 in Sept 2014, after being 2-0 and 3-1 down. 5. The 'great escape' run we went on in the final part of the 14/15 season 6. Vardy breaking the record (and being there for it) for scoring in consecutive league games. 7. Smashing Leeds 4-0 in September 2003 with Nalis scoring a screamer - would have been another 5/6 years before feeling any kind of happiness about the club after that. 8. The games against Spurs and Man City in January & February 2016 respectively - the moments where I properly started to think we may actually win the league. 9. Playing in League One in 2008/09 season - an odd one because it was the first time Leicester had been down there but it meant we could 'start again' and get some good feeling/momentum back in to the club after 5/6 years of shite. 10. Vardy scoring for England against Germany. Maguire scoring for England against Sweden. Plenty of others moments but not much comes close to the euphoria or happiness or excitement felt in the times above.

Grosso's goal was on my list, and while I did watch the Final. That Italy vs Germany match was much more entertaining to me. When Grosso scored that goal, quickly followed by Del Piero, I lost it. A match ending in Injury Time is more enjoyable to me than one ending with PK's.

Azeem
1- Rui Costa's goal against England at Euro 2004 the very first football game i watched and i was backing Portugal. I still remember the commentators words " Rui Cooosta ! A blast from the past Rui Costa has put Portugal infront with a stunner " I've searched the internet but never found that commentary. 2- Grosso's goal 3- Algeria vs Germany 2014 4- Iraq winning the Asian Cup 5- Egypt vs Algeria 2009 World Cup tiebreaker qualifier. Guest
I have a lot of footballing moments I loved, mostly neutral involving the teams I follow. I'll try to list the top 10. Not the easiest list to put together, but #1 was a no-brainer to me. 10. Universidad Cesar Vallejo's penalty shootout win against Bahia in 2014 9. Atletico Nacional's last minute winner against Rosario Central to knock them out and advance to the quarter finals 8. Universitario winning the Peruvian title in 2013 7. Atletico Nacional's Copa Libertadores win in 2016 6. Peru beating Australia for our first World Cup win in 40 years 5. Raul Ruidiaz saving Monarcas from relegation with a last minute winner vs Monterrey 4. Paolo Guerrero scoring the winner against Chelsea in 2012 to win the Club World Cup 3. Knocking out Brazil in the 2016 Copa America 2. Finishing 3rd in the 2011 and 2015 Copa America 1. Peru's 2-0 win over New Zealand to qualify for the World Cup
