Honey Honey Posted December 29, 2018 Posted December 29, 2018 As Mike Ashley looks set to gamble that Newcastle don't need anything to survive, what does your team need to meet your objectives?
Subscriber RandoEFC+ Posted December 30, 2018 Subscriber Posted December 30, 2018 Doesn't have to be in January but by the start of next season we need to replace Coleman and bring in a striker who fits into Silva's system.
Administrator Stan Posted December 30, 2018 Administrator Posted December 30, 2018 Thought there was another thread on here about January transfer window wishes but can't find it. Another striker is desperately needed. Either to support Vardy or as back-up. If Vardy's injured, Iheanacho and/or Okazaki just aren't good enough to solely lead the line. There's barely been a handful of games, if that, where Vardy and Iheanacho have worked well together. I know Iheanacho's confidence is totally shot now but he's not the kind of striker that everyone wants him to be (i.e. in the Vardy mould). Iheanacho's goals and strengths come from inside the box and finishing chances off but we don't seem to get the ball in the box enough for him to do that. Plus his effort in general is lacklustre and underwhelming, anyway. Someone as creative as Maddison can be as well is another hope/wish. Not sure who but if Barnes can come back from the loan and play as well as he's done for West Brom, it's a no-brainer. Would go down well with a lot of our fans plus it's another youngster who could develop well under Puel.
Vegan Kel Posted December 31, 2018 Posted December 31, 2018 Pogba to go, Woodward to go and, if it isn't too much to ask, the Glazers to starve to death
Subscriber Dan+ Posted December 31, 2018 Subscriber Posted December 31, 2018 We won't sign all three this window and I wouldn't expect us to but another striker, another winger and a more creative central midfielder.
