This is were the internal clash between the secular Jews and orthodox Jews is. The Orthodox jews weren't in for creating a Jewish state was until the Messiah comes but the secular jews were and they started all this Zionist movement and they did what they wanted but now those secular jews don't want all this Messiah to come and Greater Israel stuff but the rabbis now want it t be finished with coming of the Messiah and Greater Israel to happen even though they opposed it initialy

Too few honorable Israeli journalists. What can you expect from an ethno-nationalist fascistic country that doesn’t even treat all its own Jews equally..... forget about Arab-Israeli citizens or Palestinians in the occupied territories. They’ve moved far far to the right. So far, they’ve been able to maintain their status with the help of the US..... God help them once US removes it’s unconditional support.

That's not going to happen anytime soon. Their relationship is an extremely weird one. Americans really don't get anything out of it but the Israeli and Evangelical lobbies make sure the US government stays bent over.

Supporting Israel means that tensions in the Middle East will always be high, particularly when you've got the right wing government there doing those illegal settlements and the U.S. standing by backing them up. And supporting Saudi Arabia means indirectly funding Wahhabi extremists, indirectly creating more terror groups to create more instability in an always tense region.

So how does America benefit from it? Most Americans don't, but the companies that make up the military industry complex benefit from it hugely. And if a group of rich people benefit from something, you can bet your bollocks US politicians are motivated to make them more money.

Zionism isn't all about Judaism any ethno-nationalist movement + religion = Zionism

Pretty much every "Zionist conspiracy" shite is about how Jews run the world and control the Illuminati and other bullshite like that. It's hardly ever a conspiracy about how a bunch of Rastafarians are running the world as they light their spliffs and listen to Bob Marley.

Not technically but similar movements in other religions are often termed as such

https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Christian_Zionism#/search

The first sentence is that it’s the Christian belief that the Jews should return to their homeland because of some passage in the bible.

Its not Zionism, zionism is clearly linked with the Jewish people and adherents of the faith. What you’re talking about is religious nationalism.

The Jews are a highly successful and productive people, often they’re targeted by people envious of their success and it’s done under an “anti Zionist” agenda, the reality is it’s just envy and the beginnings of anti semitism.

You can be critical of the Zionist movement but frequently the lines get crossed and it just becomes anti Semitic by most.

Not just that they are successful but despite their %in population they are so successful and influential despite being so few. Thats the main reason of them getting targeted

and its human nature I'd say when a minority becomes powerful in a majority frictions start to appear between them

I don't know why it's so difficult to separate views on Jews from views on the Israeli government... the subject of Israel existing as a country is also a separate discussion from how the Israeli government act. Not separating these things leads to what we have now which is people using claims of anti-semitism to silence criticism of the Israeli government.
