nudge Posted September 27, 2019 Author Posted September 27, 2019 Max tops FP2; looks good for RB so far. Ferrari at pretty much the same pace; Mercedes seem a bit slower but I'm sure they're sandbagging again. Haven't checked the long runs yet though.
Moderator Tommy Posted September 28, 2019 Moderator Posted September 28, 2019 Ferrari really found some pace somewhere in the summer break. This is incredible Topping P3 again.

Other than increased downforce and other upgrades, tyres are seemingly a big reason. They finally learned how to keep them within working temps all the time and they're hitting the perfect tyre window. Pirelli also lowered the tyre pressure which helps them as well. Qualifying should be interesting. 6th to 16th were within less than 6 tenths in FP3.
Moderator Tommy Posted September 28, 2019 Moderator Posted September 28, 2019 Albon crashed it. Quite a bit of damage at the rear of the car.

Moderator Tommy Posted September 28, 2019 Moderator Posted September 28, 2019 Magnussen out in Q2 in 14th position, while Grosjean is 6th
Moderator Tommy Posted September 28, 2019 Moderator Posted September 28, 2019 What a lap from Charles, and fucking Lewis out of nowhere Didn't expect him to beat Seb with that last attempt. Great drive.
Subscriber RandoEFC+ Posted September 28, 2019 Subscriber Posted September 28, 2019 Leclerc unstoppable. Mercedes have a lot to think about here. Only Hamilton would have had them on the front row in the last two races.
nudge Posted September 28, 2019 Author Posted September 28, 2019 Impressive from Leclerc and Hamilton. Max also got everything out of the car on his second run and Red Bulls should start asking themselves whether they can keep him in the team...

MUFC Posted September 29, 2019 Posted September 29, 2019 How will this go? Lewis has turned into a good starter now, really good launches. If the faster tires on Ferrari degrade quicky, they can be under serious pressure from the Mercs quite early on. I hope the Ferrari tires last, if they degrade early it could wreck the race and end up an easy Merc 1-2.
Moderator Tommy Posted September 29, 2019 Moderator Posted September 29, 2019 Wow, early start. Almost missed it. Can't watch the full race though
MUFC Posted September 29, 2019 Posted September 29, 2019 Seb told to let Charles past within the first 10 laps.

Subscriber RandoEFC+ Posted September 29, 2019 Subscriber Posted September 29, 2019 This smacks of Ferrari overcomplicating their strategy and giving Lewis the chance to just mind his own business and let them fuck it up.

Moderator Tommy Posted September 29, 2019 Moderator Posted September 29, 2019 Ferrari screwing Seb over.
