CSKA has never had anything to do with KGB though, it was strictly an army club. You want a KGB/NKVD club, look up Dynamo Moscow. Granted, these days they don't have anything to do with state security apparatus either as the clubs have long been privatised; it is a thing of the past when the whole Dynamo society was created by and connected to the secret police and security services in respective former USSR countries.

Sochi is up 4-1 on Rostov at halftime...this would be a rather shocking result if it holds.

Oh damn, just kidding. Just read that Rostov is having to play their U-18 squad as the team is in quarantine.

Sochi 10 - 1 Rostov....

I guess Sochi are now safe from the drop.

Wtf.

Some dodgy business going on there surely.

Imagine going 1 up in first minute and still losing by 9 goals xD

Not dodgy really. Rostov had to put their team under an emergency quarentine due to a player testing positive.

They could have postponed, but Sochi said no because of the fixture backup they already have. Rostov could have just not shown up, losing the default 3-0, but they already did that earlier this year due to an issue, , and the RPL rules states that 2 cancellation request will end in an automatic DQ (regulation).

So Rostov had to play their kids...U-18 to be exact.

Wow...

To be completely honest though, I have to side with FC Sochi on this one. If Rostov could field an 11, which they could have even if it was kids, then the game should have been played. It's not really fair, but it's Rostov's own fault for not having discipline when the one player needed to go by quarantine rules.
