I think we like to make things difficult than they need to be, and I still see a fragility in our team, both physically and mentally. Just got a feeling Southampton will also see this as a winnable game. I've still got memories of the game 2 seasons ago - we saw it as winnable, get season back on track/kickstart it etc. We missed a few chances and they win with a solitary goal. If we approach the game like we did last season, with a high press and hassling their defenders as they love to play out from the back, I think we'll do well. Another reason why I can see him starting Ayew, even though Fatawu is showing him up defensively. He's got a fascination with him even though he does nothing for us in an attacking sense. Ayew is the perfect player to help see out a game, not get us into the winning positions to protect.
