  1. This is some spectacular fall from Birmingham. The sad thing is the bad will towards Wayne Rooney could have been prevented if they just waited to the next international break to sack a man they never wanted in charge given the fixture turn they were embarking on. The good thing for the fans is these owners seem willing to learn, are making essential changes with the stadium and will stay around to get them out of League One. Under the previous regimes you would have really feared for the long term health of the club if they entered the third tier. I do hope Plymouth stay up, that's a club with untapped potential when you consider the size of the catchment area. Whilst the last managerial appointment didn't work, the people that run the club don't seem to get much wrong. Hopefully the reinvest the Whittaker money well and really push on next season.
  2. Kieran Maguire has said previously that he knows of multiple people who would be interested in acquiring Everton if the club enter administration, so it may be one step backwards to go two steps forwards.
  3. Based on Kieran Maguire's projections on what a club can spend in comparison to last season you can see why the Manchester clubs and Chelsea voted against.
  4. Have to feel sorry for Huddersfield, if the VAR officials don't feel sorry for their overweight fellow Mason Club member Jon Moss then they're 150m pound richer and not in this position.
  5. Arsenal have been clinical so far. It may have been a different game if VAR had checked Gabriel's booty for Van de Ven's goal.
  6. Vicario feels like a weakness. Arsenal can just pick their spot at set pieces and he’s glued to his line.
  7. Captain for the PL years team would be Sol Campbell.
  8. The sad thing is, even though they've been absolutely terrible, they'll probably make the playoffs if they keep there best players. BBD, Archer, Bogle, Ahmedhodzic and Hamer have already shown to be very good for this level. Then there's Lowe, Trusty, Egan, Osborne, Davies, McBurnie and Brewster to round off the squad. After having four very good teams this year, The Championship feels like it will be far more open next year with less quality providing one of the dominant four win the playoffs.
  9. Picked Rutter out to transfer instead of Riis by accident. Those bloody white kits.
  10. Same as @Stan but Pedro Porro in for Benjamin White.
  11. Imagine telling someone back in October that Sheffield Wednesday will be staying up at Birmingham's expense.
  12. Huddersfield Birmingham is the massive game. It feels like whoever doesn't get a positive result is down.
  13. Given they've ignored spending limits twice now its hard to see this as a positive.
  14. His name has been circulated 2nd/3rd hand twice to people that have good track records since February. I just always assumed that it would be dependent on whether Leicester got promoted or not.
  15. He doesn't want his Farewell Tour to end in these circumstances.
  16. Liverpool must be the worst team to still be in the title race at this point of the season.
  17. DCL going to get injured if he keeps up all this running.
  18. The trick was to bring him and three Palace attackers in on free hit this week.
