  1. Yeah. I’d love to know why the UK’s advice is different to advice around the world. I get Italy are in lockdown because of how concentrated the outbreak is in one area S. Korea and Vietnam completely leading the way...I’ve read a lot of expert opinion on how herd immunity mainly works with a vaccine...something we don’t have. The only thing I’ve seen supporting the governments position is a Facebook video of a man pouring water into a bottle
  2. Sky News just now... Reporter: Has deliberate, natural herd immunity been used successfully anywhere before? Sky News Expert: Erm, not really, no....talks a lot about vaccination herd immunity, scientists around the world trying to find a vaccination...herd immunity can be achieved against virus’, mainly through vaccination. Got to say the more the government use the words “medical and scientific approach” as if every country around the world is not using the same approach the more I lose faith in their approach
  3. Love how the big chains are selling out yet you go to any corner shop, any mini-supermarket that’s Asian or Polish owned and their shelves are stocked and ready to go yet you know most of those Costco shoppers wouldn’t even think to go to these places.
  4. Win win this for you lot, if the season is ended you don’t have to put up with anymore of this football and if it’s not then you’ve got added recovery time for the likes of Son and Kane
  5. Sabrina is so cheesy and I think they proper mugged Nick’s character off (won’t say more cos I’m not sure what you’ve seen) but me and the missus have binged it completely. Waiting for Part 4 now Got 5 minutes into The Boys and Jesus Christ that’s a start to a show
  6. Mate it's clearly going to be me Deaf, wear glasses, asthmatic, had cancer, peanut allergies. Coronavirus will be added to that list.
  7. Got Amazin Prime recently and the vibe is really different, feel like Amazon is aimed at a more mature audience. A lot of Netflix programmes seem to have a more American High School/cheesy vibe to them...Sabrina (badboy programme still), 13 Reasons Why, Sex Education. There's obviously more to Netflix than just that but the Netflix produced stuff seems to be similar in style. Programmes of that ilk but that I like would be Sabrina, Lost In Space, Star Trek.... Amazon however I've watched/started watching Good Omens, Hunted, The Boys and the style seems to be a lot darker and not necessarily made for the whole family. As a man who's nearly 30 years old it's no wonder I'm leaning more towards some of these Amazon Prime programmes But in fairness I started watching Ozark and that was decent. What'd you lot prefer?
  8. To add to it, we have no vaccine. Obviously mortality rates would differ globally compared to locally for different reasons but the current global mortality rate is 3.4%. 3.4% of 39,600,000 people is 1,346,400. Obviously there is no validity to that number, but it does make you wonder how many vulnerable people the govt would sacrifice for the economy
  9. So their thinking is that they’re beyond containing the virus now (not that they tried, £££) and they’re hoping 60% of the population can develop corona so there can be a herd immunity to prevent a second spike in winter...which also means a lot of vulnerable people will die. Grrrrrrr8
  10. Not so much worried about it but with my medical history I am 100% the type of person that would get coronavirus. Going to dig and live in a hole in the ground
  11. Ticket for the final game at Griffin Park have been bought, very nearly sold out. A weird game to look forward to

The ladies will be running away from you
  13. Look at that mad bit of skill he done yesterday to beat the defender in the box but then just places it into the keepers arms
  14. Bukayo Saka playing himself into an England call up soon? Looks like one of Arsenals most talented youngsters
  15. Read yesterday that after April 6th clubs have to pay 13.8% national insurance on termination payments over 30k...interesting to see if this will effect decision making
  16. Personally as it is I think he’s worth around £40m. You’d think he’d score more goals at Arsenal as they won’t be as pegged back as Palace are, but his goal record has never really impressed me that much. He’s 27 now according to Wiki...not the youngster he used to be

Tbh it was just in reference to a lot of comments made about Tyson Fury for American media/analysts who are unaware that Irish travellers have long suffered racism in Ireland and the UK, highlighting the UK especially as the UK set standards on global white supremacy.

Aye but Irish travellers have still long been abused in Britain
  19. Haha just seen it now, yeah Sawyers is one of the best midfielders in the league and tbh the best in terms of his passing range and dictating play. Jensen is his immediate replacement and I think it might take Jensen some time, he’s got the skill and technique but the Championship is a very frantic division at times
  20. Raya is a good shot stopper and has good distribution but I feel like that's what goalkeeping at this level is, very good all round but massive clangers in them. It was the same when we had Bentley. There's something in the midfield view but also we played you 4 games into the season with 5 players we'd only signed in the Summer and then played you again as our form dropped so I wouldn't be too hard on the team but one thing I have noticed is that Norgaard is a general and gets about defensively but also can pick a pass forward...then we have Dasilva who is a threat from long range and can gallop forward with the ball, Jensen who is a technician but neither Dasilva or Jensen have the defensive bite that Norgaard and Mokotjo have. We're due to lose Mokotjo in the Summer as he's probably after a final payday and would fit right in at any club like Leeds, Forest, Fulham etc so I hope we can replace him with some bite. I've heard good things about Baptiste but haven't seen a whole lot, the dynamic of our midfield has changed since Sawyers left last year and whilst we've played well this season I think Sawyer's left a hole that we're still filling

Dillian Whyte says no to that...
  22. We’ve not won in 5 now and whilst the automatics are mathematically possible I don’t believe we’ll catch Leeds up now, we’ve left too much of a job to do Regardless of how frustrating it’s been recently to watch us underperform I couldn’t be happier with this current team tbh, Thomas Frank has kept us largely consistent throughout the season and the reason we’ve dropped off has been due to injuries to experienced leaders like Jansson and Mokotjo. Jansson/Pinnock partnership was the best in the league, without doubt. Mokotjo is not necessarily a sure starter every game but in battles against the likes of Forest and Leeds he’s well needed. An example of that is how he dominated the game at Elland Road last season singlehandedly. If we had him back I don’t think Kalvin Phillips has as easy a game as he did against us and the midfield battle is more even as opposed to Leeds running through us all night. I think what we’ve learnt is that with this squad we need everyone fully fit to keep up with the automatics, I’ve no doubt we’ll get our shit together for a final run to stay in the play offs but Jansson especially brings that push and so does Mokotjo. I’ve not even mentioned Sergi Canos who has been a massive loss all season, his running is phenomenal and he adds another dimension to our team. Unless you can afford to outright buy players who’ve made the jump to the Prem like a Fulham have done with some of theirs, you need players together consistently for a period of time challenging for this. I believe a lot of this Leeds team are probably on their third effort trying to crack the automatics whereas 4-8 players we signed have never played in the Championship, the rest have only ever known a late dash for the play offs. We’re in unchartered territory and it’s going to be difficult, of course it’s no wonder that we miss Pontus Jansson who’s experience at Leeds has boosted our standard level. If we can get everyone fit and remain in the play offs then I think we’re as good as any team in there
