  1. I’m about 3 or 4 pages late to a discussion that’s probably not happening but as part of my course to get into Uni I done a 5k or so word essay on why the child removal policies existed and the term “smooth the dying of the pillow” is probably the most British way you could describe genocide and mass kidnap.
  2. One thing is for certain now we won’t be accepting any bullshit about lower fees during covid for our players
  3. Big signing this for us, clearly we’re expecting one of Watkins or Benrahma to leave soon. Massive hype in League 1, let’s hope he can do the same for us
  4. Yeah I get what you’re saying, would have been good to have a left footed player in there. Though I think Kolasinac was pushed centrally more cos of show shit Arsenal are
  5. I don’t think Saka is a left-back, just a winger filling in. Defensively you’d rather Walker.
  6. I guess we’ll see the below? No left backs is mental Pickford Trent - Gómez - Maguire - Trippier? Rice - Dier Sancho - Mount - Sterling Kane
  7. Why would dropping Maguire be so difficult? Sterling is a far better and more important player to the team and he was dropped Definitely an inconsistency but don’t see the no bollocks claim (insert joke about one bollock)
  8. First Man City, now Arsenal having our coaches...you lot are funny have to start thinking outside the box soon

    Work/Jobs Thread

You are the wind beneath their wings my son
  10. Strange one that, there’s not many better clubs to act as a stepping stone to the Premier League than us. Unless he wants stupid wages straight away, I don’t know Edit: Someone whos a bit ITK on our forum reckons its cos Celtic are interested but they’ve not met his valuation yet
  11. Making this comment under the notion that I agree it’ll be virtually impossible to see Klopp leave, Klopp and Pep work very differently. Not to say he couldn’t do it and be a success at a bigger club, but Klopp has never taken a high pressure job in his life. He works up underdogs and his success is the result of a number of years of unsuccessful years where his building blocks are placed. His players are generally underdogs too, we’ve not seen him sign stars who are already there. He’s untested moving straight into a club like City where the money and expectations are there straight away
  12. They won every competition in England last season, regardless of money spent, that is an amazing achievement that hasn’t been matched by previous big spenders/oil clubs. It’d be stupid to sack him.

Oh no he’ll end up supporting the richest club in the world that occasionally don’t win trophies whatever will he do

Joke about the baby having more hair than you. Return joke about the baby having more testicles than me. But congrats man, you really seem to hate sleep
  15. Ignore the tweet but reading the picture of the article, Thomas Frank is very confident we’ll have a strong tram next season. Glad to hear
  16. Yeah, but even then if you’re Villa wouldn’t you want to strengthen with proven quality? Same as Fulham imo
  17. Yeah interesting point, if a Prem team comes in for him then you can’t really say no. He’d be a fool to leave us for another side in the Championship though. He’s just recorded his best defensive record with us, knowing how good our defence is he’d be mad to leave for another side in this division. But if a lower Prem side wants a bit more solidity then he’s their man
  18. So next season will be interesting, will have to see how the transfer window goes before getting an understanding of where we'll be. Players I expect we may see a bid for are: Benrahma - Should have got his move to the Prem with Neal last season, so no surprise he'll be gone. Watkins - How do you keep hold of a player that good? I hope we do, new contract, more money, whatever it takes. Keep him, but I think he'll be off. Henry - Simply the best left back in the league, has it all, shuts out speedy wingers, gets up the pitch, can cross it, can dribble, can pass in tight spaces, can beat big players for aerial duels. Hope he stays but I don't see it happening. Otherwise I expect most of the first eleven to stay, Mbeumo included. If we keep Raya and most of that back line then we're already on great footing for next season. See no reason to sell Norgaard, Jensen, Dasilva or Emiliano. Canos will stay, Fosu will be looking to secure first team football. The thing with Brentford is you never know who we're scouting, but we have been linked with a move for Folarin Balogun, other than that...I've no idea. For the sale of Benrahma and Watkins I think we should be pushing for the most, let's not let teams bully us with corona as a reason when United are struggling to secure a pandemic shaped discount on Sancho. A lot of money in the Premier League, make them pay. Hopefully we're looking at £45m-50m for the pair if they go.
  19. La Liga’s decade long domination coincided with 3 key moments though, the crop of Spaniards that helped contribute to some of the greatest club and international sides ever to exist, and then Messi and Ronaldo. I think the only way England dominates again is with a fit and firing Man Utd, cos Liverpool’s finances aren’t guaranteed and for what they’ve spent Chelsea and City have both under achieved in Europe. With United in the mix it means Chelsea or City can have a shit season and there’s still 2-3 top English sides
  20. On paper, both teams at their best, we’re the better side. Our track record against Fulham shows that. But that means fuck all on Tuesday
  21. Pulisic also cost £60m, he came at that price because he has the talent
