  1. It was never a logical argument to leave the EU, it will take close to a decade of legal work alone to amend and create new laws that we're saying goodbye to and as you say "we want less redtape!"
  2. Greg is a good shout, he was solid

Just get any shower gel with mint if that’s what floats your boat Stanley
  4. A good FL poster too, Doncaster supporter
  5. Who kept moaning about racism towards Scottish people all the time? He was a laugh And there was that Sheffield Wednesday fan who argued against video replays from day 1 despite the entire forum thinking he was thick and now look how it's all turned out, probably best he's not around to gloat
  6. I imagine it’s until season end but does seem mad
  7. Steve Bruce stays Will take NUFC to the top

Thankfully my area has held firm and kept this sort of nonsense at bay
  10. Acrobatics is in my heart, I don’t think I could make it my 9-5. I’m planning to study something along the lines of social work so it’ll be a good degree/job to get a visa for.
  11. Yeah there’d be more opportunity in Melbourne but Auckland is decent for jobs, busier than you’d think for a city that small. Found it much easier to find work in Auckland than I did Perth for example
  12. We’ve been pretty set on moving back to that side of the world but the last year or two we’ve been fairly set on Auckland. But Melbourne is just a bit bigger and offers more whilst we’re still fairly young...and tbh Auckland was the opposite of Sydney in a lot of ways which is a reason why we liked it so much as we both loved Sydney but living there always felt a bit off at times and from visiting Melbourne to speaking to people about it Melbourne feels like what we liked about Auckland and the opposite of what we disliked about Sydney. I’d miss Sydney’s beaches but I don’t need amazing beaches to get by, Melbourne has some nice ones that’d do the job. Outside of that I’m not massively a beach person in that I’d move somewhere just for them and when I was in Melbourne it just felt right to be there, great restaurants and bars, millions of sporting events, the comedy festival. Just felt like there was more balance there. I think if we were to move to Melbourne and it didn’t work out then Auckland would be a backup plan that would be fairly spot on.
  13. TFF live together in Melbourne
  14. This may amuse @Toinho due to the boner I used to have for Sydney but me and the missus have been thinking about moving to Melbourne instead of Auckland in a few years

So my granddads funeral is being live-streamed for the grandchildren/friends who can’t attend due to number restrictions and family back in Ireland. A live-streamed funeral...what a time to be alive
  16. Definitely not as quickly but we’ll see how City handle their FFP court case
  17. Are you sure about that? City still been spending. Backers that wealthy will find a way to put money into a club as big as Newcastle through sponsorship imo
  18. Good record of managing teams who can get above the 45 point mark
  19. I know you’re joking but Poch would be perfect
  20. From one human rights abuser to another...professional football has no shame
  21. Mate The Block is the best of Aussie TV
  22. Just found old episodes of The Block on Amazon Prime, sorted for the next few days
  23. She was using the video that somebody else posted, to highlight that the weekend that Ireland cancelled St. Patrick’s Day there was a giant Stereophonics concert happening in Cardiff. The lady who wrote the thread didn’t mention China...
  24. Yeah I was still in Sydney then and living amongst backpackers, after that it developed a bit I still have my normal accent just have moments of an Aussie accent, but it became quite strong back then. Was working in a call centre not long after and everyone thought I was an Aussie at first. One girl knew me for two years and thought I was from Sydney the entire time
  25. No but I lived there for 2 years so I picked it up, the first year I was living in rural Queensland for about 9 months and by the end of it I had backpackers surprised when they found out home was London and not Sydney. Its still there a bit if I talk to an Aussie but mostly in the raising of the voice that Aussies do
