Johnson needs to shut his trap with his 'We will make sure we learn lessons' line... Thought it had been a while since that line was last trotted out.... The bloke couldn't learn a lesson if he went all the way back and started again from primary school level...

One of our team tested positive today and normally when that has happened in other departments they have sent everyone in that bubble home to self isolate for 10 days... Not us though

Why does it seem that all the evil/hated characters are women?? I mean fair play, they really do the characters some justice when you hope something horrible happens to them or they get some just desserts at some point... I don't know, where do they draw that inspiration for being manipulative and scheming from...

I think there are a good mix of characters in there overall but some do punch a bit harder than others it's true.. She will survive for sure

I think it would be good for us all mentally if we took turns punching Stan in the face... Can't vouch for you guys but I know I would feel better for it, I would have a really good incentive for getting out and about ( my daily exercise and all that ) and would have a really positive outlook on things for the rest of the week...

That's the other aspect of it the family and friends... We don't see the Grandkids much and my eldest couldn't come over for Christmas this year either so xmas was a bit of a non starter for us.. Going to be the best part of half a year yet before we might see any changes as well..

I will be honest and say that the whole thing has felt like it's taken it's toll a bit on me.. Normally I have a fairly upbeat outlook in general even if things are going a bit tits but admit I have not been at my best at times at all and the whole thing has just got everyone down in general and I have been lucky to be able to keep on working throughout the whole thing as well which lot's of other people have been unable to do.. so bugger knows how I would be feeling with little to no money coming in and not many job opportunities knocking about either.. I don't think anyone can underestimate the toll it takes on your health, mental wellbeing and physical state...

I was reading an article earlier in the week where they are saying that some people are having to go back in to hospital with lasting complications from having it even just the once, I think it said that most people are having repeat problems within about 140 days of being cleared as covid free... These were only for people that had been admitted to hospital on ventilators though so will assume that these are some of the worst cases and might not apply to those that had less symptoms attached to it...

After having a good run at our place people seem to be dropping like flies across all shifts now... They have tried to isolate staff into bubbles but if one person gets it they are losing everyone within that bubble... 1st day back on shift today and we are 5 more people down from our last shift...

When the first lockdown was on Sainsburys for example had a person at the door only letting in about 10 people at a time and they were wiping the handles with sanitiser on all the baskets before handing them out to each person as they went in, also you had to follow the one way system round the store... Tesco did a similar limit but not the baskets etc.. That has all gone out the window now with no limits, no masks and no one way system in place... And this time round the situation is worse than before.. I have seen some people with masks and others without and stores have stopped challenging it because people just claim they have some health issues and can't wear one.. It's probably not worth the grief trying to enforce it but if the whole thing is more relaxed for want of a better word then what realistic chance is there of getting it under control??

Unless they shut almost everything down the tier system is not going to work... I think it's already proving that point already I have just seen a complete shift in attitude towards this lockdown/tier system than there was when we had the first one, more places are open, more people still going to and from work, less mask wearing, kids back in school etc.. I just don't think you will contain it allowing people to keep mixing the way they are... When the first one was here hardly anybody was out, non essential businesses were shut and shops had strict controls over how many were in there at a time for example but all that seems to have gone out the window now...

What it's like each month when you are the only bill payer in the house....
