  1. The drawing of the lines seems to be an issue, sometimes they draw them , sometimes they don't. But can they actually draw the lines wrong? I have seen different drawn lines that show the Garnacho goal against Arsenal to be onside.
  2. Saturday 30th September, 2023 Aston Villa 1-2 Brighton, 12.30 Bournemouth 0-2 Arsenal Everton 2-1 Luton Man Utd 2-0 Crystal Palace Newcastle 3-0 Burnley West Ham 2-0 Sheff Utd Wolves 0-3 Man City Tottenham 2-3 Liverpool, 17.30 Sunday 1st October, 2023 Nottm Forest 1-1 Brentford, 14.00 Monday 2nd October, 2023 Fulham 1-2 Chelsea, 20.00 Tuesday 3rd October, 2023 Luton 0-1 Burnley, 19.30
  3. Probably the best United have played all year. But Palace were horrid, didn't look like they were interested in being out there. Hopefully we get the same result on Saturday in the league.
  4. Hard to celebrate a 1-0 victory against Burnley, especially since Burnley deserved something from the game.
  5. Saturday 23rd September, 2023 Crystal Palace 2-1 Fulham Luton1-2 Wolves Man City 3-0 Nottm Forest Brentford 2-1 Everton, 17.30 Burnley 1-2 Man Utd, 20.00 Sunday 24th September, 2023 Arsenal 2-1 Tottenham, 14.00 Brighton 2-1 Bournemouth, 14.00 Chelsea 1-1Aston Villa, 14.00 Liverpool 3-1 West Ham, 14.00 Sheff Utd 1-2 Newcastle, 16.30
  6. Sheffield Wednesday fans throwing tennis balls on the pitch in the15th minute in protest to the owner, sacking of Darren Moore and the absolutely crap football they have player this season.
  7. I think that given the circus around Man Utd, there shouldn't be any serious thought of sacking ten Hag. The Glazers refusing to go, with their sale/no sale, the Sancho, Anthony and Greenwood situations, the injuries to most of our starting defenders, Amrabat and Hojlund arriving injured, the inability to get rid of unwanted players and the financial restrictions due to FFP rules . It's doubtful anyone could have done much better.
  8. United's game has been strange, I don't think United have played that badly. 3 Brighton goals on the counter. We have won games this year when we shouldn't have, now we are going to lose one we shouldn't
  9. Sancho isn't a kid anymore, he's played for three big clubs. He has burned almost all his bridges, it's time for him to grow up, or he will end up like Ravel Morrison.
  10. They could be trying to self motivate him or give him a kick up the ass to chance his ways. Probably a last resort sort of thing, they have tried everything else but nothing has worked. Seems he had thevsame kind of problems at Dortmund, makes you wonder what he was like at City?
  11. The 7 players that played practically all of the minutes for Canada are playing in the NBA. Not following the NBA, I had to look up who they were and who they play for, but this team was likely the best we could put out.
  12. You could be right, Canada was about a 5 point favourite with North American bookies. Plus there were stories about Canada being the most talented team at the tournament. I don't follow basketball to be honest, only noticed this was going on because Canada's progress made the sports news here. Also with the time difference, it didn't really get a lot of coverage here. I also suspect the USA's defeat isn't get much play across the border.
  13. Surprised by the results of the semis, the bookies had them going the other way.
  14. Canada beat Slovenia. Next step Serbia in the semi final.
  15. 32 C , 40 C with the humidity. Sitting in the air-conditioning today. 5 or 6 days if this now, supposed to break tomorrow.
