  2. Too many to count. Could be 40 , maybe more. But houses in Canada and the US have much more outlets than the houses I have stayed at or lived in in the UK. There every few feet, 5 or 6 in a room and they are all double plugs.
  3. What happened to the Liverpool goal? I went to the washroom , got a cup of tea and it's gone.
  4. Absolutely terrible performance by United, Fulham fully deserved the win.
  5. Fulham should be up and Maquire could very well be off. United can only be better in the second half. Hopefully Fulham regrets their missed chances.

  7. Shia/ Sunni dispute. Another big problem in the region.
  8. What's that about? Has anybody claimed responsibility?
  9. Dershowitz ckaims he was arguing from a legal Constitutional point. If a 16 year old has the constitutional right to have an abortion without state or parental interference, how could she not have the constitutional right to engage in consensual sex? He said he was against it morally. Though it will be interesting to see if anything comes up about him with the release of files on Epstein I always have liked Dershowitz, respect his legal view of the Constitution., would have liked to see him on the Supreme Court. He will do a good job for Israel if he accepts the offer.
  10. I saw Napoleon. Battle scenes were great, though not totally historically accurate. Too much emphasis put on the relationship between Napoleon and Josephine and not enough on Napoleon's military and political campaigns. If you got your information about Napoleon from this film you would think everything he did was to impress Josephine or win her love back. It was a good film though, but I wouldn't go see it again,
  11. I hadn't heard that for this conflict but historically that figure would not be unusual. 16 % of WWII deaths are thought to be due to friendly fire and it has been said that 23% of the US deaths in Desert Storm were due to friendly fire. I have also heard that 1/3 of the Arab civilian deaths in wars against israel are traditional due to friendly fire by Hamas or Hezbollah and their allies.
  12. I didn't even bother watching the game yesterday, and I can't remember when I missed a game for no reason. The club from the ownership to the stadium, the training facilities to the product on the field is substandard. It needs an investment of billions of £'s and a major clear out and I just can't see that happening. I really fear that I will never see United win the Premier or the Champions League in my lifetime again.
  13. I don't mind them doing pre game or post game commentary, interviews or analysis, but I draw the line on play by play commentary. Its like nails on a chalk board, I find it irritating. I have to switch games or turn the sound off.
  14. I read that they were Hamas militants who surrendered on mass in Khan Younis
