How does extra time and penalties come into this.?

I would agree with some of the new teams and some of the teams we didn't expect much off have played some good football. But I don't think many of the pre tournament favourites have got out of first gear yet.

Too many teams qualify for the tournament, too many teams get out of the group stage. The group stages see teams play too cagey, too cautious , just don't lose and make sure you advance to the knock out round.

Thank God the Group Stage ends today. It's been tedious watching the last few days. Hope fully every team that advanced will up their game now we are in the knockout rounds. I can't believe how the bracket is falling in England's favour, if Czechia beat Turkey only Italy of the so called top teams are on their side of the bracket. Hopefully now England will play up to their potential.

I think you have to look at who England played. Serbia and Slovenia offered little attacking threat and Denmark were not much better.

Don't understand it. If Fodden is to start he should be a number 10, move Bellingham back to partner Rice and bring Gordon or Palmer to play on the left.

Austria has to be the surprise team of the tournament, I knew they were good but never thought they would top the table. Very strange line up by the Dutch, but they are through to the next round.
