  1. A SNIPPET from the Athletic article on Anfang: At first, Werder defended Anfang and Junge, believing their assurances that it was all a misunderstanding. But as more details emerged, their stance changed. If the pair hadn’t walked, the club would have suspended them. Werder fan site Deichstube revealed that Anfang and Junge had both been forced to undergo a test for those who are unvaccinated after a player had tested positive in August. When the local health authority got in touch with them following another positive test this month, they suddenly presented vaccination certificates stating jabs in April and July. So why had they both said in August that they were unvaccinated? One health official became suspicious, and looked a little closer at the documents. It transpired that on the date of the first alleged vaccination in Germany, Anfang and Junge had both been in Austria with Werder at a training camp. A vaccine batch number was reportedly also false. “The police presented us with very clear evidence,” Werder executive chairman Klaus Filbry said. The allegedly fake documents were confiscated by the authorities. If proven guilty, Anfang and Junge could face up to a year in prison.
  2. I've had this feeling about being the US in general.
  3. For when he wants to distance himself from Arsenal. I thought it was obvious.
  4. Ah, December 8 for those outside Ger/Aus/Swi. So if I use my VPN would it work?
  5. Clearly the Champion's League is the real farmer's league, eh?
  6. Don't understand why that would be. It's been advertised on multiple platforms as Nov 2 release date.
  7. Tried to find the doc on Prime but can't find it. Wtf.
  8. He has a BVB kit and a training kit and a Man City shirt but it seems like it's more about the look of the shirt than it is the football. To be fair, I did ask him if he even knew a player on Man City and he said de Bruyne. He's asked me about Lewandowski a couple times but I told him it was a sore subject .
  9. I'm pretty sure All or Nothing Bayern is out today on Amazon Prime. I'm trying to get my oldest to watch it with me. He likes teams with star power and I'd prefer he at least follow a German club .
  10. Btw, it's nice to have another Roma fan on here. Totti is my favorite player of all time... his birthday is 27/9/76 and mine is 30/9/76 so it was meant to be
  11. El Shaarawy is a Roma legend but he's late to the game considering Mourinho is much more familiar with Miki. At this point I can't really fault anything Mourinho has done. He has Roma in the top 4 and playing much better defensively (with the exception of the Glimt match ), which has been their problem for a few seasons now. I wasn't really in favor of his appointment at the time but I'm willing to give him time. It feels like Pelligrini is really starting to blossom under him.
  12. When my boys got the Switch last Christmas I signed them up for the Nintendo monthly sub to play the old NES and Super NES games. I remember playing F-Zero for hours with a buddy years ago. I hyped it up to my youngest and then jumped on to play it with him. He watched me race a couple laps and got up and left the room. I seem to recall that game being much better... it was lame as fuck .
  13. During Freiburg match commentary over the weekend it was mentioned that Lucas Höler has scored in all top 5 tiers of German football. I assume he's not alone in that feat but it's still impressive all the same that a player can work their way up through the ranks like that. Personally, I love the guy and his work rate is fantastic. He'll never play for Germany but he sums up what it means to play for Freiburg.
  14. I typically watch all Freiburg matches. Was a bit sad.
