Sorry thought I had replied. Counting for one lol. Single digit addition and subtraction.... Just a whole range of things but I suppose in my brain I’m comparing them to students from abroad that I’ve taught and that’s not fair. I also forget they’re 7 and 8 years old. There’s just so many gaps in understanding. Meant to be teaching to the curriculum using a certain resource but said resource is ineffective (IMO) and bland, so am trying to go more hands on. Hopefully see improvement.

The actual suburb of Gosford has 4,000 people but the whole shire has 160,000 odd. Tiny population really in rugby land too. We get the crowds the competition deserves. Football is the most popular sport, easily, but majority of fans are “Euro snobs”.

Took my first day off today since about September last year. Haven’t been feeling the best. Mystery illness at the moment. Missed a fun day at work it seems as some students got suspended. No complaints here really just posting.
