  1. If we're giving red cards for that then we may as well stop tackling full stop. He was strong in the challenge but he got both the ball and the man. To be honest the likes of Casemiro are the last of a dying breed. Teams like City dominate possession so easily because teams can no longer be physical enough to level the playing field. Mourinho's Inter and Atletico being the last teams to make a success of it that I can think of. I'd take football with aggression back over this tika taka crap any day of the week. The games been too sanitised and as fans we're now looking at decent tackles and over analysing them. I know you haven't said it was a red but the fact that tackle was being discussed in work today just tells you how soft the games gone. That was bog standard back in the day.

We need more small hall shows mate, we're having to watch fighter development from big shows rather than small venues. I've been to loads of boxing nights at leisure centres and watched some of the best domestic fights. Friday night on Sky was brilliant for domestic and European level boxers. Derry Matthews, Jamie Moore, Gomez the Booth brothers. I was at loads of the early Crolla fights before he progressed to arenas If Whittaker started off on small halls fighting these guys displaying his skills rather than the showboating he'd be absolutely loved by now. Instead it's being reported he's kicking off about hotel rooms and dancing and hopping in front of journey men fighters in front of 10k crowds. Not a good look at all.

Agree on Josh Kelly, he thinks he's far better than he actually is. Had all attributes to be a decent fighter but lacked a bit of power and left himself far too open with his style. Don't like Whittaker though, unlikable for me.

What's your opinion on this Whittaker showboating stuff? I know there have been others that have done stuff similar in the past but I personally find he's more belittling than say Naz was. I don't like it actually and it's turned me off him completely.
  5. If I've not finished my pint at closing time I've sneaked a glass out with me many times. I wouldn't steal a glass for my house though, I've got plenty already.
  6. Did you watch it? Bet your wife got a shock if you did.
  7. Love/Hate Irish gangster series. Its over 10 years old but it's been brilliant viewing and I will be gutted when I watch the final ever episode this evening.
  8. I like pineapple on pizza but the thought of chocolate and chicken seems a bit out there to me. That said sometimes unusual food combinations work. I'd defo try it.
  9. He's absolutely terrible isn't he. Crazy thing was he looked brilliant against us for Sevilla. But having watched him in the flesh I can safely say he's one of the worst full backs I've ever seen play for United.
  10. Went cinema to watch that movie, had no idea of the weird shit that happens in it. Really good film but honestly it went too far for me. But it got people talking about it so I suppose the shock factor did it's job. 8/10
  11. At what point is it seen as unacceptable. 15 league defeats? 11 at the moment, to me thats enough. He's should be gone by tomorrow but for some fucking crazy reason people seem obsessed with giving him to the end of the season. Get a caretaker in, no point having him hang round any longer he's out of his depth.
  12. Something Ratcliffe said that I really liked was the fact they will be looking to play a certain brand of football from top to bottom and whatever manager comes in he will have to play that way. This will also reflect in transfers so that we never end up with a manager having to deal with a group of players not suitable to the system ever again. We're miles off at the moment, but at least there is now something in place to hopefully bring us back.
  13. That's the thing, I don't think we can offer more than counter attack football. That was Ole's best method for getting victories. As for ETH, he is praying 5th gets Champions league, that's the only way in for us now. We ain't getting top 4.
  14. Where has he said its for the stadium? He talked about regeneration of the area. Manchester United aren't responsible for the roads and areas around the stadium, the council are responsible for these areas. So a conversation should be had about a contribution. The club are responsible for the land they own.
  15. Are we sure he's not talking about investment in the area around the new stadium? Aside from that everyone is overlooking the fact Manchester City and West Ham both sit in stadiums built using tax payers money. I suppose it's any stick to beat United with though. Just becoming a bit boring really.
  16. Where has it been confirmed he's looking for a government handout?
  17. If Spurs can come up with a legitimate way of funding a new stadium then Manchester United won't struggle. People just love a story about United and they run away with it. Imagine how much money we could generate by selling the naming rights to our stadium, it would be insane. Also the NFL could look to bring itself to the North of England as well as London. There are loads of possibilities.
  18. His early stuff with Guy Ritchie was excellent, he played the cockney wide boy so well.
  19. Didn't enjoy it Nudge, I get you should take these movies how they come but I kind of lost sight of whether he was good or bad in the end as he was just killing everyone. When he walked up to the special forces outside the tower block and just joined in their conversation on how to get in the building I'd had enough. It was beyond ridiculous.
  20. Statham seems to churn out shite constantly. I went to see the Beekeeper a few weeks back. It was absolutely pathetic.
  21. Honestly I think he's fantastic, he talks well, he clearly coaches well. I look forward to his next step after Wolves, he could have a brilliant career ahead of him.
  22. Griselda Thought it was absolutely excellent.

    Tap Water

40 Bottles for less than £4 in Costco. I have piles of them in my garage.
  24. So sitting to pee is actually the norm to some people?? That's blown my mind really, I didn't realise men did that through choice. Obviously if you are already sat on the toilet fair enough but taking a seat to pee has never ever crossed my mind. That said I get the whole it's cleaner idea, no splashes anywhere etc..
