To be fair I've had a few friends who've gone away and they say it's really relaxed and everyone is enjoying their holidays as they would usually just it's a little less busy. I myself went to Turkey last August and it was brilliant once you got there, you follow the rules of the airports and it's fine. Our government are the one's making an absolute pigs ear of it, there are entry requirements for each country, you follow their entry requirements and then you test before you come home. All this swapping and changing traffic lights is confusing people and also the British press are scaring people to death. Last week one of the papers ran a story saying Greece was at risk of being placed into the red list yet not one other tabloid or media outlet ran the story.

Due to fly out on the 21st, Turkey still on red list and still not had my holiday cancelled. Hopefully Thursday they stay on the red list and I get a full refund. Once I know I've got the refund coming I'm booking either Croatia, Greece or Spain for the same dates. Determined to have my summer holiday.

Yep Sean Bean is in this one. Not revealing anything. Brilliant watch.

Time BBC drama about an alcoholic teacher that kills a cyclist and ends up getting four years in prison. Basically takes you through what it would be like day to day. Absolute hell!!! Amazing drama, one of the best I've seen for years. 10/10

What a film. One of his best that one.

Leg break playing football when I was 21, crossfield ball came over my shoulder took it under control and tried to clip it inside this big centre back in one movement. Didn't bank on him diving straight into a tackle. It happened so fast but I remember feeling like my body had gone one way and my lower leg bend and then a sound like a branch snapping. In a panic I tried to lift myself up quickly but about three lads dived on me and held me down on the ground. I knew it was bad due to the pain but I was really worried because they were deliberately blocking the view of my leg. It was only when the paramedics arrived that it dawned on me how bad it was I'd shattered both the tibia and fibia just below the knee and my leg from what I was told was just flopping around as I tried in shock to get up. The next few weeks were absolutely hell, I had an operation a few days later and the pain I went through I will never ever forget. I remember crying in my bed for more pain relief but it being rejected as I'd has my morphine and pain killers, anyone who's been in that position they wear off and the morphine is on a timer so you can't have more in day than your allowed. I had two plates fitted either side off my tibia and fibia, the location of the break had caused damage to my ACL so I'd had work on that and had to have a bone graph of my hip as well for something or another. I've not got a 7 inch scar running from my knee down my shin and obviously a scar where they took some bone off my hip. Bad times.

Having said what I've just said I've just checked the cost of construction in 2002, it only cost Leicester 37 million to build that stadium, that's incredible really. Inflation wise it would be around 67 million in today's money but when you consider the cost of some stadiums that's amazing value. Majority of stadiums seem a similar design so I'd imagine the original plans included the option of expansion further down the line. Maybe the construction costs aren't anywhere near as expensive as I imagine.
-
An additional 8k seats, doesn't seem a huge jump considering the financial costs of construction. How much is the average Leicester season ticket?

Space Jam a new legacy Took my youngest to watch this on request, not really a big basketball fan but gave it a go anyway. It was watchable but I found it hard at stages. 5/10

Guns akimbo Daniel Radcliffe plays a tech nerd who stumbles on a website taking America by storm. You basically register to join and they put you in a one on one battle to the death with another member. This is all streamed via drones and cctv all over America to subscribers. Think this must have been a film that didn't get released in 2020 and has gone straight to Prime as I've never heard of it. Clearly taken inspiration from the game Fortnight which was big during the period the movie was made. Anyway Radcliffe only looks at the site out interest and ends up getting his front door kicked down by the games owners who attach guns to both hands with bolts and then make him a contestant against his will. Plenty of action and also funny at stages. 6/10

He's got to deliver a trophy this season. United can't accept five years without a trophy so this season is huge for the club. I'd take anything at this stage just to get that winning feeling back.

Midsommer A bunch of travelling university students are invited to join a Swedish Pagan mid-summer festival, what they didn't know was the community of which their university friend described as a peaceful community are actually a cult. Don't really need to explain the rest as these types of movies all follow the same kind of theme. they've obviously been invited for a reason. What I will say not enough of these types of films have been made and maybe that's a good thing because when you do see a movie about a cult (Wicker man) you find the whole thing incredibly disturbing. Personally for me these are the most mind fvcking films as they could actually be real in life. Only thing I'd say annoyed me was the length of the film, maybe that's because I didn't start it until 9.45pm but at 2 hours and 20 minutes in length it's no a short movie. 8/10

Yeah, I've had the same issue as well. Loads of glitches at the moment to be honest.

Sex life Watched about 20 minutes of the first episode and switched it off, honestly dunno if I'm getting old but constant shagging scenes in TV boxsets make me cringe. I was a big fan of the Power boxsets but found the sex scenes in every episode totally pointless. If we wanna watch porn we just flick to internet mode on the old smart tv and whack on Pornhub. It's not needed it boxsets in my opinion.

I can't quote people, I can post in a thread but if I quote someone's post it just doesn't show my post.

Snatch 9/10 The Guy Ritchie films never get old for me though little details really annoyed me this time round. Turkish saying is it zeee Germans, found it really cringy this time. Maybe it's because I'm older. Brick top is just brilliant, absolutely hilarious yet a horrible man. Scary to think there are people as ruthless as that in the real world.

Only just seen this, brilliant.

He broke his back didn't he, that takes some healing to be fair.

To be fair I could see the logic in United asking him to play through injury as we pay his wages and we needed him during that run in. The team always looks incredibly unbalanced when he's not in the side and I think Ole thought he needed him. He was terrible as it happens so maybe you are right the op needed to happen in March. Allowing him to go to the Euro's knowing it will impact the following season is a crazy decision in my opinion, can't get my head around it myself.
-
Can't believe the club that paid his wages didn't demand he have this surgery straight after the Europa final. Player power is far too strong now days, Sir Alex wouldn't have allowed him to go to the Euro's knowing he would miss two months of the new season.

New rules kick in on July 19th, Turkey expected to be moved back to the Amber list on July 19th....... It looks like my holiday is back on!! Don't know whether to change it to a green list country closer the time though. Can't be doing with the worry of it turning red whilst I'm away.

Feel for you mate, I had it at the start of June after one jab and it was absolutely awful. Be thankful you've some vaccination, I was because I'd have hated to have felt how it would have been without it.

Awake Watched this off watching the trailer alone, I wish I'd checked the IMDB. Basically the world is hit by a strange phenomenon that knocks out all of the electrical power and prevents people sleeping. Scientists explain the processes of not sleeping for a period of time and the effects it has on the human body. Quickly things turn bad as people start to panic and lose their minds with exhaustion. The actual story behind sounds good but the film is pants. 4/10

Watched another old classic from back in the day and it hasn't aged well at all to be fair, cheesy backing music in scenes that made it sound like an old porno movie. Boys n the hood 7/10 For those that haven't seen it, basically it's a story about a group of friends growing up in Crenshaw, LA in the late 80's, early 90's when gang violence was at it's peak in the area. Trey the main character has a role model of a father who want's to make his son realise the way out of the hood is with knowledge and success. Over the other side of the street live Ricky and Dough boy two brothers who couldn't be more different if they tried, one dreamed of making it as NFL player from being a small child whilst Dough boy was clearly on the wrong path from childhood. Films like this really open your eyes to how difficult it must be raising you boys in the LA where gangland shootings are daily occurrence.
