  1. Didnt get to much sleep, my family in Natanya (North of Tel Aviv) are safe and on a chat group someone left his cam on over Tel Aviv to show the incoming ballistic missiles and interceptors. Overall the damage was not substantial at all, Nevatim was hit but the assets were moved and the ordinances are kept underground. No deaths on the Israeli front however one fatality in Jericho and 5 Iranians were killed with 12 critically injured when a missile exploded on the launcher. Quite a few videos including arrow exosphere interceptions which is quite something to see explosions at 50000ft, there was one from a commercial plane showing the launching from isfahan. The worst event was the terrorist attack at Jaffa train station, two gunman killed 7 and wounded 8 before getting killed by a man in flip flops. The persons name was lev, he was returning from the beach and ran to the scene where he killed the terrorists. He is an active IDF soldier on leave he also saved people in Re'im during the Nova attacks. As for eslscalation and stakes, the use of ballistic missiles takes it up a notch. Russia does not use more than 2 or 3 missiles at a time, largely due to them being very expensive so the 200-400 launched makes it an unprecedented event. Iran have threatened the US as well if there are retaliation strikes. The bad news for Iran is that the US are packing trident missiles they have warheads that can range from conventional 2000lbs to tactical stand offs of 100 000 kilotons to apocalyptic level 20 000 megatons the US also has a massive arsenal of ATACMs which can do some renovations. Israel have LORAs which can go up to a 15 kiloton warhead which will do some serious damage. If iran takes it a level up we may be talking about WW3 and Iran copping a serious home makeover.
  2. Those missiles are fast. over 400 ballistic missiles launched over 50 impacts with so far only a few cases reported of injuries. There is a death in Jericho of a Palastinian that got hit by a direct strike from one of the missiles. The iron dome is working hard but the odd one gets through and it hits palastinians as well. It is fucking madness. There was also a terror attack in Jaffa, two gunmen killed 6 people before being killed.
  3. Im on Clatts live stream, he will have to leave soon as there is a second volley expected, they are hypersonics, but it looks like the US may be entering war with Iran tonight.
  4. Watching a livestream of incoming missiles, it is quite intense.
  5. Lopetegui is probably leading the race right now
  6. It was a gut punch but from an arsenal perspective that is one showing of mental character that in a game where they lost the initiative, they came back to win. They are such a good team
  7. Why do great chances fall to Longstaff. If Tonali gets that chance, he corner pockets it. I dont think city are as good as before, it's now whether arsenal and liverpool can get over that mental barrier. I still think Arsenal will win it but liverpool are canny.
  8. The way people went on about it, I was under the impression that the premier league draconian anti competitive practices were under threat. The premier league still has a sui juris right to say what is to much, based on no method or quantum it is a massive overreach of power.
  9. Not at all, it is the many islamist groups that surround israel that have the destruction and murder as their objective, there is no such mandate or manifesto in Israel, one is an extremist group (like the nazis) and the other is a nation state. As stated Jews and Arabs live together in peace ergo it is not a Jew/Arab issue it is an ideological issue. The nazi's were a minor ideology but they used fear and intimidation to get power, much like how Hezbollah stole Lebanon from the majority Lebanese despite being remnants of the PLO. The Houthis in Yemen are the same thing, a minority injected into the region to destabilise the region and do the biding of the puppet master in Iran. Iran wants regional hegemony, islamism is the tool for it.
  10. It is 2024, Israel is majority Jewish, Druze, Bedouin with Muslims making up the minority, why are you referencing the colonial province of the Ottoman empire. Province of Syria included Syria, Lebanon, parts of Iraq and Jordan, Israel and the Sinai. In the Levant of historical Judea and Samaria the population was at most 100 000 people, the region was infested with disease, infertile due to salted marshes and it was only after the turn of the century that there was inward migration due to cures and agricultural advances brought by Jews from Europe.
  11. It took a while for Hezbollah to confirm it but Israel knew he was dead, they knew where he was and probably had surveillance. There is no place to hide. He was mouthing off just days prior. Who is next? America is in this passivity phase but they knew, they provided the field testing of the GBU57 used in the strike, and it has some zip. America has been planning a war against Iran for months, one that is based on penetrating Irans tunnel network.
  12. Nazi's were outnumbered in German society, they used fear to intimidate the masses. As for Druze and Jews and bedouins they were the majority in the Levant up until forced displacement was considered a cool thing to do. They are the majority of Israel today and yet you dont' see muslims murdered in Israel. You do however see Muslims murdering non muslim Arabs everywhere else.
  13. Collective punishment is a corner stone of Islam, the hadith call on killing those that are not servants of mohammed, it commands the extermination of Jews and others and is the bedrock of islamism today. The problem started long before the british mandate and will continue for long after if it is allowed to be normalised. In Palastine under Al Aqsa TV is a kids program called tomorrows pioneers, it is a sesame street styled kids program that normalised martyrdom and killing Jews, this is engrained into their society, when it becomes an ideology it becomes violent and perpetuates that. Nazism remained after WW2 but it was eventually strangled out of standard society. The same can be done.
  14. Hezbollah is essentially the IRGC, so Iranians who are anti IRGC would celebrate it.
  15. like none of this is actually true, this is just delirium. Jews have lived with Bedouins and Druze for millennia, there are also nigh on 3m Arabs in Israel who all live peacefully. This is not an Arab/Jew thing this is an Ideological thing. they chose the path of conflict long before 1947 it dates back to Mohammed, the false god/prophet that was rejected and humiliated by Jews so he built a religion premised on the destruction of Jews, the same ideology exists today, it is a cycle of self ruin, they are now feeling the consequences of their malevolence. The path to peace is oh so very simple, accept Israel instead of trying to destroy Israel, accept as part of the middle east and work together for the betterment of the region.
  16. Still throwing the victim card around, it is not like there hasn't been ample opportunity to co-exist, they chose war and not as defenders but instigators. you don't start a war and cry victim, that is reserved for Hitler and Putin.
  17. Collective punishment is the cop out term, when people subscribe to a group who's ideology is premised solely on the destruction of others and carry out that mandate, they may be "innocent" in actions but they harbour malevolence in their hearts and minds. I also think if Israel wanted to they could kill every Palestinian, that to me is enough indication that it is not the modus operandi. The real fuckers are the ones that exposed their people to war, maybe they did not anticipate Israel's response after years of Israel bending the knee to the UN despite years of rockets and ballistic missiles being fired at Israel. That Schmuck from Iran calling on Israel to disarm for peace, Israel's military and technological supremacy needs to be made the deterrent. Palestine was going to be the harder war due to the nature of the embedded enemy, Lebanon is much easier, Hezbollah have many enemies notably the Lebanese government and army and most of the population. Lebanese people who want nothing to do with Hezbollah also moved north into the protected zones, those that stayed are likely all fanatics. The strike today was extremely targeted, it was a strike on Hezbollah military command, it wasn't one leader it was many, this after 5000+ were targeted in a clandestine attack. This is physiological warfare taken to the max, the target though is not worth one iota of empathy. Who's next, Iran will probably be last on the Dinner reservation as the USAF has been practicing deep strikes, the US has been mapping deep subterranean tunnels to test the new GBU57 for bunker busting strikes, the US has also targetted strikes against the Iranian nuclear program. Iran is also likely to be more of a target for a expeditionary army like the US, Iran is to far and Israel is not designed to move an Army that far out. The Houthi's? they are a bit far but they should be left to keep Saudi Arabia and the UAE in check.
  18. I had stopped gyming a while back and struggled to motivate to go back, I may have found a willing gym partner which does make a difference. having someone to push you and you push them does motivate one more, or at least for me.
  19. Iran have spent the best part of 15 years enflaming the region, arming proxies, destabilising governments and spreading radicalism. The junkyard dogs bark is bigger than its bite.
  20. https://www.reuters.com/world/middle-east/gunmen-shoot-kill-aid-worker-gaza-charity-family-say-2024-09-27/ Hamas have a new strategy, probably because they are not getting anything smuggled in anymore. This is low even for them. The big news though is waiting on the confirmation of whether Nesrallah was killed, that would be good news.
