  1. In the sense of banning on a website.
  2. Can't get banned for having that kind of characteristic. It's not wrong to be like that, just quite jarring.

    The Holiday Thread

We've booked a family holiday in Peak District for October. Found a cottage for only £560 for 4 nights!
  4. It's pure bollocks. At least I bloody hope so. He's not what we need, is quite expensive for his perceived talent, and like you say I very much doubt Leeds will entertain selling him, let alone to us. I think it very much is lazy journalism. We need a left-footed right winger and from what I see, Harrison isn't that player. We're targeting Tete from Lyon/Shakhtar which does fit the bill, so maybe this is some kind of smokescreen. I'd be very disappointed if we signed Harrison for this fee.

The guy thinks he's cool playing video games, until he realises his friend who he used to play them with, has grown up and grown out of it, and has a son who plays them. Therefore making the first guy rethink his whole future because he likes the same things that a small kid does.
  6. 'chunky monkey blubbernaut' is what you said, not the above. It's judgmental and quite frankly, just rude. Nothing about 'victimhood syndrome'. You can be a proponent of body positivity and make changes to your own body. But for all you and I know, Trainor might have made changes for health reasons? Therefore, you've been judgmental in thinking she's a hypocrite just because, in your words, she 'now looks really good' after being overweight. She looks good in your mind because you clearly don't like bigger women. Otherwise I doubt you'd have called them 'chunky monkey blubbernaut'. They're proponents of body positivity, as in feeling confident and happy in your own image. Maybe it's stress-related, or health-related that their body has changed. You don't get to decide what to call them just because you didn't like how they looked.
  7. Are you okay? You seem to be quite a judgmental and obnoxious character based on comments like this.
  8. https://www.mirror.co.uk/sport/football/news/man-utd-sale-glazers-crystalpalace-29027088 @The Palace Fan Palace's part-owners may look into buying shares in Man Utd if they were to give up their stake in Palace...
  9. Bloody hell I think you've jumped a few steps here without actually any substance.
  10. And you know this, how? What studies have you done, or is it just a sweeping generalisation? How do you know that 'the reality is not many gay men are interested in playing'? Based on what?

    NFL

Yeah Bengals are fun to watch. All the commentators yesterday said it'll be a running game due to the weather, but Bengals did their thing and it worked. I do wonder if you're right when they play the Chiefs. Guess it could depend on how fit Mahomes is. I put a bet on Eagles to win the Superbowl a couple of months ago. 49ers will probably be their toughest test. Brock Purdy continues to elevate and perform.
  12. I'm happily take him now if it meant we would stop conceding 2+ per game. And also if it meant a relegation-rival didn't get him.
  13. @RandoEFC - Sean Dyche not being considered to replace Lampard? Good/bad decision? I think he's someone that would immediately be able to at least shut up shop and stop you conceding. Has worked with Tarkowski and McNeil before too.

Bengals off to a flyer against Bills. 17-10 into the 4th quarter...
  15. Rumours floating round that Conte will leave Spurs at the end of the season. Wonder if it ties in with Paratici being suspended for 2.5yrs, but also because it doesn't seem to be quite working out at Spurs anyway. Let's hope they go for Rodgers
  16. How the hell did you get a draw against Man City in amongst that

Chiefs vs Jags was good last night. Chiefs won but Mahomes picked up a knee injury. Henne did okay as a replacement. Jags had a chance right at the end to get another drive for a TD but their onside kick failed.
  18. Leeds vs Man Utd potentially twice in the space of a few days.
  19. I'd rather keep him and sell other bits of deadwood. I was resigned to losing him last summer which didn't materialise. And again this January. We need him to get us through to seeing survival out and then let him go as he wishes. In a better and right team, he could flourish more than we've ever seen. I think the club are probably resigned to losing him in summer too. He deserves European football and to continue to play on a bigger stage. I imagine there's some gentleman's agreement in place that we'll let him go in summer. Vichai was known for it, and it wouldn't surprise me if Top followed suit.
  20. We're about to make our first permanent January signing since 2018. Victor Kristiansen, highly rated LB from FC Copenhagen. Small-ish fee, hopefully high reward.
