Foden has to start. Opener against Iran and playing 2 DMs seems incredibly defensive and unnecessarily so. Against the nations which quite clearly have better attacks, I can understand. I'd go with this: Pickford Trippier - Maguire - Dier - Shaw Bellingham Foden - Maddison - Sterling Kane - Wilson I can't see it happening in the slightest but I just don't see the need to go too defensive against Iran. I've put Trippier in but I wouldn't mind if it was TAA. Sterling more as a second striker If Southgate does insist and stick with a back 3, I'd go with this: Pickford Stones - Maguire - Dier Trippier Shaw Bellingham Maddison - Foden - Sterling Kane There's more than enough in the squad to tinker with and bring other players in that should be good enough to get the job done. You act like these are the only things that are ever eaten here . They're iconic dishes (apart from the bottom two which looks like @CaaC (John)'s lunches ). But the food here is far from bland if people give an ounce of effort.

I saw it the other day. Considering some badge changes have been absolute nightmares, the two options for Villa aren't all that bad. I think I prefer the rounder one.

When/what was Trippier's ban for? Apparently Toney's ban relates to when he was playing in non-league football. Whilst obviously not good and still wrong, it perhaps isn't as bad as is being made out? I can't remember when Trippier's ban was or what gambling misdemeanour he did. Was it Sturridge as well who got into some trouble for betting on a transfer, despite already knowing it was all done and dusted? Not sure if he got banned too.

When who's kids can't get on? Migrants and English families? It's quite disingenuous to say 'they blame racism' just for that. Especially considering the political climate we're in where the government wants to deport migrants to Rwanda, and it's nothing to do with the reasons you mention.
