SA ripping through England in their 2nd innings. 141-7. Nortje's pace too hot to handle.
  3. We can't afford to lose him, no. I'm hoping he will sign a new contract. He'll be deserving of it regardless because of how he's performed the last 12-18 months. I heard one of Newcastle's offers was an initial £20m then £20m worth of add-ons. No wonder it was described as 'insulting' by us

I can't remember who it was with but I had a conversation with someone on here about SA cricket squad and that you're pretty well set for a good few years with your bowling attack. So many options for different tours/series/pitches. Rabada Nortje Ngidi Jansen Mulder Phelukwayo Olivier That's some attack and all under 30 - so you've got at least 5/6 years of a selection of those. And even for spin, Maharaj and Shamsi are very good too for different formats. It's formidable to say the least.

Bet @MUFC has a good use for it.
  6. An unwritten code that you're not allowed to go to a party and dance? Maybe that code needs to be changed. The position of PM doesn't automatically equate to you not being able to have fun, and have all kind of life sucked out of you to become a miserable straight-laced goody-two-shoes. She's literally done nothing wrong - what's crazy about it? And is it worse because it's done on camera? Why would anyone be fired/suspended for dancing at a party? Do you really think people in military or other 'serious' walks of life don't go out to parties or enjoy themselves when they're not at work?
  7. Exactly! First time in a while where I've said to myself 'some people just want to watch the world burn'. Let her have a bit of fun! It's not illegal (unlike some PMs having parties), and it's not bad to have a sing and a dance at a party ffs The fact she is even asked to justify it by media and other MPs is a joke in itself too.

Very, very unfortunate dismissal for Dean Elgar against England. Flicked off his elbow and trickled back on to the stumps, bails just about dropped off.
  9. Finland's PM was filmed at a party, just having fun. Yet some people didn't like it https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-europe-62588480
  10. Did you know when you put stuff into the Recycle Bin it doesn't actually go in a physical bin?

Try now . I've kept it as Mini Games. Separating them out is a possibility but may make the list look quite long...?

@Bluewolf - have a look now in Other Football section. I can separate them out even more, or just keep it as it is there now as a 'Mini Games' sub-section...?

Happy India Independence Day to all my Indian brothers on here Been watching a few programmes about it and the events of August 1947 and while it's an occasion which marked a milestone for the country, the involvement (or distinct and cowardly lack of) of the British government is astounding. Lord Mountbatten has the blood of millions of citizens on his hands.
  17. They do seem to be on an upward trajectory now, and it revolves getting their recruitment done properly. Although Ramsdale had his errors on Saturday, he seems to have sorted himself out properly. Their defence appears solid now that they've given Saliba a chance to partner Gabriel. If Tomiyasu and Tierney can stay fit, they have good full-backs, with Zinchenko able to deputise. Midfield will probably get worked on next (Tielemans?) but the attacking players they have are really exciting - Saka, Martinelli, Odegaard, Jesus, Smith-Rowe. Vieira is a talent I'm looking forward to seeing how he adjusts to PL football. Not seen anything of Marquinhos but at 19 he must have potential if Arsenal have got him? They seem to have a structure to their recruitment and actually signing players they've needed, as opposed to just for the sake of it. Jesus could turn out to be one of the signings of the season. Getting back into the top 4 I imagine is the aim for Arteta. Wouldn't surprise me if they won FA Cup again or League Cup.
  18. I'm guessing because it was so long ago that he didn't know. We're not all as old as you
  19. Eh If it's not 'Tommy', is it Sonic the Sonic Hedgehog
  20. I can just imagine Gallas is in his lounge thinking to himself 'ah yes, I've roped that lad @Dr. Gonzo right in! My work here is done...'
