    Wrestling

The Undertaker interview with BBC following the release of The Last Ride... That match with Shawn Michaels he mentions, from 2010, is one of my favourites ever.
  2. Italy looking to open up their internal regional borders and also national borders from 3rd June. Shops and restaurants, with social distancing, due to open from 18th May...

Yeah heard about that. And that they've done away with the rakes for bunkers and stuff like that.

Were there a lot of other people there or pretty empty @Lucas? Looks beautiful. Certainly made the most of the weather!
  5. I had shingles as well a few years back. Still got the scars on my back from it. It wasn't so much the pain (I got used to it) it was what it did to your body and made it so awkward to sleep. I worry for when I'll get it again as apparently once you've had it, the risk of getting it again is higher than normal. Just lies dormant inside you. I think I got mine due to exposure to high temperatures (was in Morocco when I got it). Isn't the theory still that kids can get it but not show symptoms. I think with chicken pox it's certified known that it can be cured/recovered from/treated. A deliberate controlled infection and building immunity is one of the theories Boris discussed (that clip on This Morning about taking it on the chin) and is herd immunity isn't it? The risk with kids is that they could be asymptomatic - so while it may be 'safe' for them to catch it, what about when they go home and give it to older members of their families? I think some children have already died from COVID19 anyway? We're talking very, very low percentages but yeah I can't see it ever happening. I think we'll have a vaccine before it even gets considered anyway.
  6. I find that hard to believe. PHE and Cambridge know nothing.
  7. 66 and for a non-Liverpool fan I'm not that disappointed! Missed some obvious ones from the 80s. Guessed a few random surnames. Been watching some of the Big Match Revisited on BT Sport recently and that helped though
  8. Thought Peru was the best at everything especially during Covid-19 ? Also, thought you were Canadian now ?
  9. I don't think there's shock that it happens now and has happened before. I think it's 'shock' that it continues to happen and is peddled by people in some form of power that should know better.
  10. Feel sorry for the key-workers that still do have to get to work using public transport (as they have for last 7-8 weeks anyway) and now can't because of poor advice and if the trains/bus services are shut down.
  11. Yes enjoyed Elite too as there were some of the same actors. I enjoyed the first series much more. I think I stopped watching the second series - not sure if I was getting bored of it or other series I wanted to watch more came along.
  12. Yep! I remember first watching it, right back at the start S1 E1, I started it with the English dubbing and I just could not stand it. Barely got to 10 mins I think and switched it back to Spanish with English subs. So thankful I did that

Nearly lost it in a Teams meeting today at work. Too many people talking over each other and this one woman just fancied talking whenever she felt like it, even though other people were talking. Think I swore under my breath and my boss heard it
  14. Agreed. After Corbyn's 'leadership' it is refreshing to see someone act professionally and have such an approach and attitude to taking the government to task. Some might see it as an easy win/easy option given how the current government are performing, but at least we now have someone credible and someone ready to do that role. What I like the most is that Keir won't go in all guns blazing. He'll pick at certain things when the time is right and play the long game, almost. Clearly calling out the government for their lies and confusion and mixed messages is a good start.
  15. How do they get to work if they can't go on public transport It was bound to happen. Both the crowding of transport and also the news hounding on them.
  16. What's this bit mean? If they've lived in this country for a short time, yet working full-time and eligible for their 80% a week, why is that a slant on them? There's bound to be thousands in a similar situation as you that have sadly lost out. Agree about the tax bit. That'll be on us for years. But anyone expecting any different with all of this furloughing/impending recession is naive and more fool them to be honest.
  17. There's culpability everywhere. You have MPs and ministers themselves giving different messages and putting their own interpretations on the rules. All saying something different. Can't be that clear a message then?
  18. Austria and Germany have agreed to open their borders in two steps: some restrictions will be lifted on Friday before a full reopening on 15 June Lithuania, Estonia and Latvia will open their borders to each other from Friday - creating a so-called Baltic bubble Beaches on France's north-west coast will start reopening on Wednesday but gatherings of more than eight people are banned Belgium's only naturist beach at Bredene won't open at all this year Police in Paris had to evacuate the steps of the Sacré-Cœur on Tuesday night because too many people had gathered Sweden’s government has promised to fund training for 10,000 healthcare assistants and care home nurses, after criticism of how it handled the spread of coronavirus among the elderly Sorry @DeadLinesman your annual trip to Bredene won't go ahead. Keep your bits in mate.
  19. Not sure if it's same thing related but he apparently opened up one of his factories in Alameda (?), which is not allowed in that state, and said if police want to turn up and arrest anyone, don't arrest the workers but him instead.
