Had a lucky result with Roksana in the 4.10. Was 2nd behind Benie Des Dieux but that horse fell on the last hurdle and Roksana went through to win, at 10/1. Just about broke even for the first day.

Had a double of Klassical Dream & Kalashnikov. Latter fell unfortunately after another rider fell so was unlucky there. Had Duc Des Genievres @ 5/1 in the 2nd race just now which won. Got Mister Whittaker in next race as part of a Lucky 15 and also Up For Review (in a treble). Noble Endeavour in an EW single @ 14/1. Backing the Irish horses given the conditions...

Fighting With My Family - 7/10 Enjoyed it. I think I could relate to it more because I knew some parts of the story for Paige, like her family background and being thrust in to the ring thanks to the will of her parents and then realising she was quite good. And also the competition with her brother at WAW. The story is played out well and there's a good 'flow' to the film - it doesn't appear as if there has been a lot just laid on thick just for film purposes (obviously the WM bits are fake but you kind of put that to one side in the whole context of the rest of the film). I did enjoy the 'sextape' reference 'why do you call him sextape?' 'Oh because he makes everyone famous' . And there's also the positive influence of the film of getting kids off the street doing bad things (drugs, vandalism etc) and getting to do an activity (wrestling) through WAW. The one thing I'm not sure about is just how much Paige and her brother (Zak) fell out and how much that was dramatised.
