Since lap 23 or 24 Vettel is driving with a damaged front axis, which is why he needs to steer 20° to the left in order to drive straight.

    too much kerbing apparently.

They should have let Raikkonen pass as he was the faster car. Now he's being held up and given Hamilton a chance to close in and put pressure on at the least.

Currently updating my CV and doing a cover letter. Ballache..........

Basically re applying for my job. :readthemessage:

Me and 5 others are having our job title/role/description changed so we have to reapply.

had that twice in 2 years at my work as there was a departmental restructure then 18 months later an organisational one. The latter we were all at risk of redundancy and it's not a pleasant time at all. Quite stressful to be quite honest and not a nice thing to go through.

    Good luck :)

  3. yeah driving isn't that important in London unless your job requires it to be honest.

Anyway, my day goes like this:

    Watch cricket all day
    Watch F1
Watch Emirates Cup (only because it's there to watch) or the Dundee derby in the Scottish Cup (both same standard tbh)
    Watch some women's football
    Watch some Brazilian football

Love that I have no life sometimes xD

Maybe not a grand, but even £400 could go towards better things than a driving licence for me at the moment.

fair enough. I agree with @Anton though that driving is a great liberty to have. however in London probably not so as public transport by various means is so accessible.

I get that but it's been spend a grand on driving lessons or save to go travelling...

    a grand?!

is it really that expensive in London to learn?!

When I was learning in 2007/08 it was only 20 quid a lesson. I think I had about 15-20 lessons so that was about £400. My girlfriend is learning at the moment and think it only costs her £25/lesson?

Better late than never but i passed my driving test today! Should have passed years ago, and then the bad accident on my hand held me back even further.

Anyway... less of the being chauffeured about by everyone from now on! :ay:

i have a car that I'm selling. PM me for more details if you want.

Congratulations though! How many minors? How did you find it?

  7. Nouri breathing unaided

Ajax midfielder Abdelhak Nouri has come out of intensive care nearly three weeks after he collapsed during a pre-season friendly, leaving him with "serious and permanent brain damage".

Nouri is no longer in an induced coma and is breathing unaided, his club said in a statement on behalf of his family.

It added the 20-year-old's overall situation was unchanged - stable, but with severe and lasting brain damage.

Nouri had "cardiac arrhythmias" during the game with Werder Bremen on 8 July.

An earlier club statement said there was no prospect of Nouri recovering from the brain damage, which was "probably" caused by a lack of oxygen supply.

  8. Izzy Brown makes his way down south

Brighton have signed Chelsea forward Izzy Brown on a season-long loan.

Although the 20-year-old has been with the Blues since 2013, he has made only one substitute appearance.

Brown has had loan spells at Dutch side Vitesse Arnhem, Rotherham United and Huddersfield.

He scored five goals for the Terriers last season as they earned promotion to the Premier League alongside Championship winners Brighton.

"The natural progression for Izzy, having enjoyed such a successful season in the Championship last season, was to step up to the Premier League - and we are delighted he will be doing that with us," said Brighton manager Chris Hughton.

"He is a player with great potential and will bring a different dimension to our attacking options for the season ahead, alongside our existing strikers."

Next stage up just like Abraham.

I'm actually more interested in to who does better out of he and Abraham (probably the latter) than Morata/Lukaku/Lacazette. Seriously already bored of those 3 being hyped up and stacked up against each other. BBC have an article about Morata getting his first assist in a fucking friendly ffs xD

Just sign up to a paid streaming service for sports. I've used a couple over the years. About £5 to £7 a month

guaranteed decent quality? any to recommend?

  10. been shafted with my TV deal what with the new Sky Sports channels changing.

I have a deal with BT TV where I pay £32.50 for the TV entertainment deal and then an add-on for £22 to get Sky Sports 1 & 2 which was perfectly fine.

Now that it's changed to Sky Sports Main Event and Sky Sports Extra and they've upped the price on the add-on to £27, I'm going to lose out on some sport which would have usually been on Sky Sports 2 and may not be shown on Sky Sports Main Event or Extra.

Looking at Virgin and Sky deals and it looks like I may have to pay nearly double the current deal of £32.50 to get Sky Sports channels and BT Sport channels.

Also been told to cancel my TV deal with BT it'll cost £73 cos my contract runs til next Sept.

    What does everyone else pay?

Thinking about getting Kodi but a bit skeptical...
