Not posted about it since I got back but had a belta time in Vegas.

Didn't really know what to expect before I went but it is somewhere I will be going to again. It isn't the same type of holiday as my trips over to Ibiza but enjoyed it just as much. I'll be honest I wasn't a big fan of the Americans before I went but they are spot on, genuinely decent welcoming people. Some of them are as thick as fuck mind, I was accused of being Australian, Scottish and Southern cunting African.

The hotels and the strip it's self over there are very impressive, loads going on, plenty of places to go to and see and the food and drink was class.

Best day I had over there was hiring a car and me and my mates driving to the Grand Canyon. Was still wrecked from the night before and was having a good drink in the car so the crack was top notch in the car. Was interesting driving through the trailer towns and scenery etc.

Had a few moments upsetting the locals and causing havoc as well of course, wouldn't have it any other way.

Grand Canyon is fucking amazing mate. Love it there. We took a helicopter ride to it from Vegas. Absolutely stunning. Clouded over a bit in the afternoon but saw enough of it to be satisfied and overwhelmed by just how big it is.

You gamble much while in Vegas? Where did you stay on the strip?

  2. Mateo Musacchio signs from Villarreal

@SirBalon can probably give us some insight in to him as an avid follower of La Liga. From what I know, he's a very capable defender and I've got high hopes for him at Milan. About to hit the peak of his career I'd say. Milan certainly aren't messing about this summer - already signed highly-rated Franck Kessie too.

Giving someone a job because they had half a season of management and done well would be madness in my opinion.

If there's more to him and the club believes before that that he'd make a good manager then it's a different story, but if they hire him in last season alone I don't think it'll work out well.

he'll be hired on the basis that he knows the club, the players respond well to him, he won't have to get used to the way the club operates (like a new manager would). Players trust in him and there'll be minimal change. Even when Pearson has been in charge and when Ranieri was in charge, it was well recorded that Shakespeare would do a lot of work in terms of coaching and managing the team especially during training.

If anything, the fact he started off so well in being a manager just cemented his abilities to step up to that level from assistant manager.

I included that, unless I've counted 2 things as 1?

    Di Canio pushing the ref
    Klinsmann dive
    Beckham free-kick
    Yeboah volley
Arsenal red-card mix-up (Oxlade and Gibbs)
    Delia Smith half-time rally
    Keegan 'love it!'
    Fowler celebration
    Gerrard slip
    Birmingham red card on Eduardo
    Keown vs Van Nistelrooy
    Suarez bite
    Shearer celebration
    Arsenal penalty (Henry & Pires)
    Cantona kick
    Beach ball Sunderland vs Liverpool
    Rooney overhead kick

    17 :)

  5. Bairstow and Willey provided much-needed resistance to the early embarrassing collapse. Debutant Toby Roland-Jones is also impressing, too. Hit a few fours and 1 six already after 20 balls.

  6. scenes at Lords right now.

England 20-6 after FIVE overs. This is a One-Day International xD. Not a T20.

Not one England player in double-digits for runs.

    Rabada is on 4-12.

At 20-5, SkyBet had England to score Under 120 runs @ 4/1. Not sure what it is now!

What? You had your first ever steak recently?

    yeah.

Hindus don't eat beef and for 26 years of my life, I hadn't.

Then went to a steakhouse with the missus and loosened the reigns so to speak :D .

  8. what's everyone's favoruite type of meat?

    for me, it's this:

    Chicken
    Lamb
    Duck
    Rabbit
    Pork
    Beef
    Turkey

Haven't ever had any other game birds like pheasant etc.

Medium or well-done for me as if i see red i think it's raw and fear catching salmonella, e coli or some shit.

this for me as well. i usually have lamb but had my first beef steak a few months ago. oh my god. sensational.

I had some duck once when in France, cooked on a barbecue. you'd squeeze it a little and red juice would leak out. Tasted absolutely delicious, mind.

  10. Ride Along - 5/10

Not as funny as I thought it'd be. Bit of overkill from Kevin Hart's character as the annoying side-kick. Obviously the predictable ending as ever with those types of characters.

    The Big Lebowski - 5/10

probably not a popular opinion but I really didn't enjoy this. I don't know if this was becase I was too tired after watching the above but I didn't even watch it til the end. Got bored of the overly strong American accents of 'The Dude' and the big Lebowski character. And the shouting Walter character got on my nerves too. I'm not sure if it was meant to have any comedic value to it or what it was even meant to be. The only worthwhile bit was this:

I bought a 9 pack of bog roll and my new flatmate who I share a bathroom with has used 8 and a half rolls in about a month.

This isn't the first French woman I've known to use a hell of a lot of bog roll. What are they doing? @Batard
