  1. Since when and why! Why are statistically the third most successful club in England and that DEMANDS we compete (not win, that's different).
  2. Wenger's era has to be looked at a tale of two halves... The first and the second are distinctly different.
  3. We were on the route downwards with Wenger which is why he was sacked. Plus it's not about competing with City and the likes, it was about competing against ourselves and our feeling comfortable reaching our seeming target of a top four space with domestic cup runs being used as the carrot hanging in front of the fans faces for "satisfaction" You have a simplistic view which has been fed to you by meaningless emotionally driven twaddle.
  4. It is absolutely ridiculous to use the argument that he (Wenger) did such a miraculous job in "keeping us in the top four" when WITH him ee dropped out of the top four with a visible spiral downwards. We are living in times where facts are pushed to one side and either made to be forgotten or in some cases made to seem like an extremist's view (this phenomenon goes beyond sports). Let me also add that the priority of Arsenal Football Club is to build to compete to win, not to maintain the status quo because it fits the objectives from a business sense and model through marketing ideals to their shareholders. In other words... "Keep outlaying costs down so as to obtain maximum financial benefit" (continual growth). Football clubs ought to produce for their fans, not their shareholders! If fans have now been manipulated to believe and accept that mediocrity is the objective, then football has definitely entered a new era. This will certainly make the divide between Europe's elite clubs against the rest a fixed fixture forever with the only shining light an "every now and then" rise to the level sparse moment like Ajax are enjoying before their club is ultimately raped of the mechanics that have driven them there thus maintaining the now established status quo. Blind!
  5. Actually you’ll be surprised to learn that I think it’s brilliant! Absolute masterpiece in my opinion.
  6. I think Arturo Vidal is harshly thought of by the Barcelona fans in general but I do also join them in the sentiments that I don't exactly know what he brings to the team. At the same time I also know that the team look a lot more active when he runs onto the field.... But I do also feel the whole situation can sometimes be erratic. I'm genuinely confused with Arturo but it's another piece of proof as to how dense and quality-populated the Barcelona squad is.
  7. After appauding like they were possesed by demons at Priti Patel's fascist xenophobic and authoritarian speech, they went back into their natural catatonic like mode. Ladies and gentlemen, I give you a sample of the democratic system that has given us our unelected Prime Minister Boris Johnson. The people that want to take away our future generations' rights and freedoms!
  8. Completely agree with all of that. That Barcelona squad for me is also the best out there and should be the most balanced aside from back-up for Jordi Alba which there isn't. I mean, at the start of the season Valverde had Messi, Suárez and Dembélé out injured and he still managed to put out a competitive front line in the shape of Griezmann, Ansu Fati and Carles Pérez. Not many have the option to do that! At what club would Ivan Rakitić have a problem to get into the first team?
  9. WHAT! Aussies scaremongering now! WTO Terms man... We CAN compete with the biggest and most powerful trading block on the planet. Come ooooon...
  10. Continuong on the theme that Brexit is an English thing and tha it's also a thing to those that believe in colonialism and have a dellusional belief on the existence of English exceptionalism of an Empire long gone. Here we have someone that puts things right on what the Republic of Ireland is and means. EIRE OWES ENGLAND NOTHING! The REPUBLIC OF IRELAND is a part of the European Union and the EU owes its duties to defend Irish interests. The UK cannot dictate nothing at all to Eire.
  11. Seeing if there’s any women out there he hasn’t sexually harassed yet or if there’s any he can give Government funds to for IT lessons at their place.
  12. She is getting slated for it from all quarters (obviously not from the far right contingent) this morning. I particularly liked Sid Lowe's tweet early this morning relating to this bitch.
  13. @True Blue with an early morning Tweet... Looking good mate!
  14. Agree with almost everything barring the end. I disagree that intelligent people can't be racist or xenophobic. Quite the opposite actually seeing as some very infamous examples have had the nouce to convince plebs on believing their rhetoric. Another thing is if you reckon the manipulators weren't actually racist or/and xenophobic and were playing another self benefitting game.
  15. Seeing as Brexit is more a sentimental and emotional belief for those that continue to maintain that we should leave the European Union, then what you're profession is has no relevance. You don't have to be thick to either be conditioned or be a racist xenophobe. Or are you saying intelligent (intellectuals) or professionals can't be that way inclined?
  16. True, but the majority of those remaining from WWII overwhelmingly voted to remain. I saw a yougov stat not so long ago. They didn’t vote for the rhetoric being banded about. They know what they fought for and those using the name of that fight for their own xenophobic superiority complex ends know nothing.
  17. "If there were a God, I think it very unlikely that he would have such an uneasy vanity as to be offended by those who doubt his existence."

    (Bertrand Russell)

  18. VOTE BREXIT PARTY and let's sort out Leaving the EU. Be a Patriot chaps and take back control.
  19. This isn’t even some photoshop joke. This is real!
  20. This is Brexit and Brexiters... THIS IS ENGLAND! Disclamer: Have to omit Scotland, Northern Ireland and Gibraltar (Wales is a different kettle of fish, they seem to be SM fanatics)
  21. Curious that a lot of them (not all mind you, but a large proportion) tend to be also Brexiters.
  22. Ok, cheers. All I needed or know. Have a nice day Kel
