Attempted murder/intimidation of Jordan Shanks last night, someone set his home on fire. @Devil-Dick Willie

Was only a matter of time. The thing that gives him huge outreach is his comedy and that probably stalled this kind of thing for a while, but it's becoming increasingly clear that he has an influence over a big chunk of young voters, and their eyes are being opened to the evil shit gaming NSW, the NSW government, the NSW police and the Liberals nationally are accountable for. He is a threat to the protection racket the afore mentioned groups run on themselves and im not at all surprised someone has reached out to silence him.

Personally I wouldn't start Süle.  He has been less than impressive for Dortmund.  Hoffman as a wingback on the right.

I very much doubt that Füllkrug starts.  Flick will go for a false 9 with Gnabry or Havertz up front and that would make room for Musiala in behind.  Müller on one of the wings.

False 9 like when we were embarrassed last world cup, and when we were embarrassed at the Euro, and when we finished 3rd in nations league?

    coolio

  3. How would we line up boys were the power in your hands?

GK. Personally I like Ter Stegen. He is in his prime and is one of the top shot stoppers in the world
CBs. Sule and Rudiger. Has to be right?
FBs. Raum for sure. I think I like Klosterman over Kehrer but we'll see
Midfield. This one is easy to fuck up if you overthink it, so don't fucking overthink it. Kimmich and Gundogan are very similar, so don't play them at the same time unless you're putting Gundy behind the striker for some reason. Muller and Havertz are very similar so don't play them at the same time!
Width. Sane and Gnabry. Do not play either as the striker.
Striker. Play the striker you picked. Literally the only 1 really.

    --------------------Ter Stegen----------------
    Klosterman--Sule--Rudiger--Raum
    -------Kimmich------------Goretzka-------
    ----------------Muller/Havertz---------------
    Gnabry---------Fullkrug--------------Sane

With Gundogan also likely to have a role to play often.

  4. This is the first time ever that I have watched a tournament and England have had the kind of midfield and attack where their aim as a team should be to control the ball and dictate the pace of a game. In the last few tournaments the best you had were ankle hackers in the midfield to try and break up play, protect your back 5 and play counter attacking and lots of crosses.

Prior to that, we can argue about how great Gerrard is but at the end of the day he was famous for long passes and high risk plays, not looking after the ball, and when you have workhorses for company like Milner, Parker and Barry you're not exactly going to have 60% possession vs anyone half decent are you?

But here, with Bellingham, Rice and Mount, Foden, Maddison ect all able to line up, and Kanes hold up play, England SHOULD be trying to express themselves on the ball. The question is will Southgate bottle it and try to play 5 at the back and a very defensive midfield set up? Because if he does ya'll are fucked imo.

Knowing we will most likely play a back 3 I’d like to see the below go out. Feel like you could chuck Trippier in as hes been great this season but I’d still rather Trent.

Not a lot of options at centre back, the back three is lacking in pace but ive had enough of Kyle Walker at centre back, open to see him playing right back though.

Midfield is cut and dry, Phillips not fit enough to start otherwise id have him over Rice.

Maddison has to start imo alongside Kane and Sterling.

    Pickford

    Trent - White - Dier - Stones - Shaw

    Rice - Bellingham

    Maddison - Kane - Sterling

How are you leaving foden out? Fuck me.

First of all, Trippier should be starting. Not Trent.
Second of all, Dier shouldn't even see the fucking pitch much less be on it.
If I were manager we'd have 4 at the back too. I know southgate will try for 5, but England are full of mediocre defenders, and brilliant attackers.

    -------------------Pickford----------------
    Trippier--White--Stones--Shaw

    --------Bellingham--Rice-------------
    Saka----------Maddison----Forden
    ----------------------Kane------------------

  6. Cashing in on an open challenge, on a mid card belt, that he'd already held. That's some TK booking, especially since he's lost about a trillion matches in the last 6 months to every man and his dog.

If HHH doesn't wanna use him, have him cash in on BB for the NXT strap. Send him back to developmental for a spin.
If HHH DOES wanna use him, but wanted none of his champs to change, have him cash in on Roman and lose.

    That's still not "blood money"...

And of course they're just doing it for the money but can't just use random terms to describe it.

Can't blame them either really. They're getting insane money for putting on a wrestling show. Plenty to criticise Saudi Arabia for but can't say I care about them paying money to put on some wrestling.

It's a 2 way street though isn't it? WWE get paid not just to 'put on some wrestling' but to shill for Saudi Arabia as a progressive country and wonderful holiday destination and harp on about how it's 'almost legal for women to drive!'

  8. 43 minutes ago, 6666 said:

What does that have to do with money or any of the shows they're doing?

They received huge sums of cash for working with Saudi Arabia during a time the west was trying to veto any involvement with them and demonizing them for their shitty actions? It's pretty simple and I don't disagree that WWE are a bunch of money grubbing shills.

I still don't understand why it's considered "blood money"...

I feel like wrestling fans just heard a term and ran with it.

Probably because the Saudis killed that journalist days before the first saudi PPV

In charge of live events, talent relations, booking advice etc he's exactly what they need.

On TV reminding us of TNA however is the last place he should be.

You can't have a guitar smashing heel on TV talking about body bags, then have the companies owner tweeting "Jeff is here as a back room business guy welcome aboard buddy"

Yes everyone knows wrestling is fake but fuck me that's grim.

Are you praying you're not touching cloth at this moment in time?

I think that photo was taken at around 1 pm. I had already enough coke in my system to kill a donkey. I was praying i'd live to see tomorrow I think hahaha

Just watched the hangman page injury. Never seen a match stopped like that. Seen matches ended early but normally there has been a pin at least.

@Devil-Dick Willie I don't think mjf has to be a career heel. He's a very good heel but he's getting better reactions than most faces and I think a lot of people want him to turn face.

No one SMART wants him to turn face imo. Wrestling is an entertainment industry and he is an entertaining heel. I'm sure he won't be absolute DOGSHIT as a face, but fuck me it'd be a step down.

Some of the best to ever do it were career heels, or should have been. Rody Piper, Orton, Mizz. All dogshit faces and brilliant heels.

  13. 40 minutes ago, Gunnersaurus said:

@Devil-Dick Willie I don't think MJF will turn face. I think the firm will get involved and he'll win the aew championship and stay heel. I'm not worried if he does though. You can see that he has the ability to be a great face.

He's a career heel. Turning him face would be so stupid.

  14. 9 hours ago, Gunnersaurus said:

From what I've heard he's worse than cody. Aew need their big stars back. Mjf is carrying it.

Yeah Jeff was worse. Cody was really bad, made himself like the undertaker of the AEW midcard
Beat random indy guys every week to avoid accidentally burrying the roster
Killed the momentum of HEAPS of wrestlers as they entered AEW (Cage, Brodie, Malakai, Andrade)
Didn't turn heel when everyone started hating his BS because 'omg I love da business guys you've gotta love me back"

But JJ just booked himself to be world champ every other week.

And yes, it's kinda falling apart. When I think of the people I want to see wrestle in AEW I think of

    Punk- gone
    Bryan- Buried by Jericho
    MJF- please don't turn face
    The acclaimed - all G
Black - horribly booked, now gone
    Andrade- Horribly booked, now gone
    Miro - injured
Penta - never has stories, is just a permanent midcarder who gets weird random championship matches every so often
Wardlow- Where is he? Tony has the same problem vince did. Can't book champions for shit
FTR- Where are they? They were HOT a few months ago, putting on all time matches with the briscoes. Then dumped from tv for a month now losing
Kyle O'Riely- woefully booked and now injured?

The little russian guy that looks like a kid? He's top of my confusingly unfunny list.
"hahahaha it's funny because he's not actually dangerous hahaha" Big bang theory level of comedy right there.
