Also changed the ending for some reason.
Yeah, I'm not a comic fan but I did hear that.
Reflecting upon it more, I think the ponderous and clumsy first act, leading into a pretty ponderous 2nd act are what kills it from being the 'modern classic' some people think it is in my opinion. In addition, some of the music spots feel pretty gratuitous. The opening credits are fine, but the rest feel forced. Finally, on reflection, the villain is WOEFULLY underdeveloped. They went to huge lengths to expand on the background of every other character, including the comedian, who dies in the opening scene. But Ozi gets basically 2 scenes prior to the reveal. A short chat with Nighthawk and the assassination attempt scene. And he appears peripherally in 1 flashback. For a movie that goes well beyond 150 minutes this is pretty criminal.I definitely think it's a well acted and great looking movie. It just has so many large flaws holding it back.

Watchmen (2009) 7/10
Zack Snyder's 'masterpiece'. Or as close as he'll likely come. A very beautiful movie, full of great effects, costumes and sets (Which are the points most ZS movies win) However, unlike other Snyder movies, the narrative is compelling and well developed. It's not just a completely soulless spectacle.
However, overly reliant on flashbacks, and the strings of plot are a often a little long and separate. In fairness they do tie in together pretty well at the end. I think if the direction was a little tighter and the narrative a little more streamlined, this would be a modern classic.-

Wow @MUFC reacted to one of my posts here and reading through this sent me in so many ways. Some funny funny material here. What a thread.
Here is the timeline of events post this.
Lenna and I dated for about a year, living together the whole time. She was very nice, attractive and absolutely insane (bi-polar and probably BPD too imo, fucking psych students are wild.) Her mental health deteriorated after about 6 months and it was a huge struggle from there. In march the year after I moved in we broke up and I moved out on my birthday on the 17th of April last year.
I moved in with 2 strange women, one was 24 and one was 31. I IMMEDIATLEY slept with the 24 year old because I am a degenerate, but this time was smart enough to do it only once.
The 31 year old was the only one of us on the lease and she let it expire after 6 months, despite telling us she wouldn't do that. I moved in with my friend James and a rando called Isaac October last year, and have been here since. (I have managed not to sleep with either of them as luckily they're both men)-

I think their should be one champ that alternates appearances on Smack and Ram. But what can I say, the less titles the better I’ve always thought
You can absolutely overexpose the audience to titles. AEW, which really is one 2hr tv show when it boils down to it show has
The AEW title
The TNT title
The all atlantic title
The FTW championship
Tag titles
3 man tag titles
And 2 womens titles. This is in addition to regular appearances from ROH champions, and AEW wrestlers holding the ROH belts (FTR and jericho/cesaro) and AAA titles floating around too.
That is a pile of dogshit.
WWE is much cleaner. Each show has a championship, a secondary belt and tag belts. 1 womens title, and a floating female tag belt. That covers 5 hours of TV with 7 titles, whereas AEW has 3 hours of TV, 8 titles plus the ROH bullshit.
Now if I were in charge of AEW, and I wasn't cooked on more coke and addys than Dave Portnoy, I'd have
The AEW world heavyweight title
A secondary belt (a US championship belt probably, naming it after the network feels tacky)
Tag belts
A single womens championship.
And a rampage championship, that gets defended at least twice a month on rampage. It would be the 'workhorse' belt and give you an excuse to put random matches on almost every week. However, AEW currently just does that anyway so meh. -

I hope they never split the belts
I don't mind the odd double title reign. But with both shows on separate networks with their own rosters, each needs a championship. Reigns has worked as double champ because he's had the storylines to go with it. If you had someone like a Brock as champ champ then you're kinda just fucked. People would either burn out seeing the same guy twice a week or would resent an absent champ (like Brock)

IMO the only way to resolve the WWE championship cleanly is to have sami get screwed at EC, but get a WM night 2 rematch. Cody beats roman night 1 for the belt of his choice (WWE championship) and Sami, with Jimmy Usos assistance, wins night 2.
You split the belts, you get both babyfaces over. -
Honestly to me it makes perfect sense that developing nations with hostile history with their neighbors are the most racist. It shouldn't even be close imo.

Apparently Jadeja was caught ‘applying a foreign substance’ to the ball. I hope it isn't the case but I wouldn’t know if Jadeja is the character sort to do something like this. @Stan
He was cleared. Australian media just hates the indians because they keep winning.
Old Nohit has been a phenom in his old age in tests. All the talent he always had, but with the temperament too. -

Fair enough. I thought that happened in Sydney, anyway that’s also true for every team in this league. Eagles had Michael Vick who ran an illegal dog fighting ring in his yard, Kansas City had Tyreek Hill who strangled his toddler, Bengals have Joe Mixon who kicked a girl in the head when he was at uni.
At least the 49ers cut Hayne after everything, all the other players I listed have/had careers post incident. The Browns have a sexual predator USD$300 million guaranteed in the middle of a civil case.
He also raped someone in sydney yes.

Yeah, to a degree. Eagles have more Aussies on the squad and I had Hurts as my fantasy QB, so I’m leaning towards them but SF also have Aussies and I had McCaffrey on my team as well.
They hired the hayne plane back in the day, Australias bogan equivalent of the lolita express, except he just rapes people. Fuck the 9ers.

Mike Tyson is a convicted rapist. Now, any decent lawyer would have got him off those charges, but that's not the point. The fact that he is in, but the Briscoes and Kendrick are out?
Brian Kendrick would be the go to guy for teaching AEWs young talent some of the ins and outs of big time wrestling. You wouldn't even need to put him on TV. -

The Brian Kendrick stuff though, I think Tony Khan has set himself up for downfall here. If you pander to the self righteous Twitter crowd they know they've got you and will claim faux outrage at every turn. The hypocrisy given the actions and comments of Mike Tyson, Sammy Guevara, Jake Hager, Chris Jericho, CM Punk, Justin Roberts and Nyla Rose (some historic and some recent) is there for all to see. We probably will not see The Briscoes now even though they've apologised relentlessly for historical comments and since changed there beliefs.
But AEW are first in line to virtue signal after his demise.

I feel like a hero when I go for a run that's over 5 or 6ks. You're a machine.
A Belgian friend of mine rode his bicycle up and down a local mountain until he hit 9800 meters of elevation, the equivalent of Mt Everest. Took about 13.5 hours of riding time and 15 hours overall. Absolute madman.
