This will be 5-0, and I thought as much after game 1. Smith and Marnus scored fuck all and Australia still won.
Game 2 England were behind all the way and it took a Stokes miracle to make it respectable. 

Bazball is fun, I enjoy watching the fast moving innings for sure, but only through huge luck in a few key moments did England beat Pakistan, and they couldn't win the series against NZ. Yes, this is a far better showing than last ashes, but the bar is low. A team with a fat wicket keeper, no spinner, a quartet of medium pacers and an entire batting line up where no matter how 'settled in' they are, the next wicket can come at any moment isn't going to win games where the par score is 700+. 

Gotta play green tops and use the confidence and aggression to win in sketchy low scoring games where the ability to score 150 a session actually does more good than harm. 

I think the declaration was bad when it was made, win or loss. There has to be a line somewhere, I'm fine with baz ball being aggressive and a few silly looking wickets being given away (Stokes and Ali in the first innings for example) but to declare with root out there on a hundred on a flat pitch was insanity. 

Rule 1 of test cricket, make the opponent take 20 wickets.

I try to live a balanced life. 'beers and berries in the fridge' style. That pic of me in the yellow was at pre drinks for an EDM festival, but I am still active at the gym and running (though I'm a bit chubby from uni peaking in difficulty). 

I am definitely trying to move away from the activities of my mid 20s and into the future though.

Yeah I need new runners. My old ones that I did this in are flat, well worn, tread is mostly gone and my knees and calves are absolutely hammered.

There are so many variables! Do you prefer a slaloming run? A cunt stomping net thrasher? A meh goal with a great assist. An important goal that was cool, or a 10/10 goal in a nothing game? ect ect. Very interesting question.

Read a book about how Soviets gave crucial support to India as a reliable Cold war ally in those wars or some book by a diplomat who actually lived through and studied the geopolitics of subcontinent or at least watch Yuri Bezmenov interview. Sure, there is a non zero possibility that the world would cut India off to the extent that they've cut off russia, and you get bankrolled and supplied Drones, weapons platforms and missiles to the extent Ukraine has from the free world, but I doubt it. For many many reasons. Sure, there would be some hats thrown into the ring, but Pakistan vs India is not in the same stratosphere as Russia vs Ukraine.
