  1. I'm going back down there in 4.5 weeks as I met a woman who is from there. I never visited Marbella last time(the only spot I didn't really) and I never ended up going up Monte Calamorro in the cable car as I didn't find the right moment, so there is still stuff to see at the same time. So much for Tenerife and Fuerteventura @nudge
  2. Absolute banger. Classic. @MUFC, @JoshBRFC
  3. That storm was extreme last night. First it hammered it down and I got caught in it, which meant I was covered in saharan sand from head to toe(fuck off @DeadLinesman & @Stan before you start ) then last night there were heavy showers, wind and thunder, although the rain has cleared all the dusty air, so it was necessary.
  4. Loads have just disappeared off here. It's not coincidentally....
  5. That sahara sand is back, the place is glowing orange and it's gone dark. Also due to it pissing down early hours this morning, cars and windows are covered in sand. It's unreal to be fair and it doesn't prevent you from doing anything. I've been mooching around Torremolinos.
  6. You always keep it quiet and just move somewhere. We never get any updates nudge haha. Have you enjoyed it there? Funnily enough, a forklift driver I know is going there for his honeymoon. Nevermind, you have already answered that question above!
  7. Do.you have anything planned yourself anytime soon?
  8. Mijas had a lot more English tourists there than I thought, mainly visiting for the day. I suppose everywhere is touristy, atleast to some extent, nowadays though. If you go up the hills just outside mijas, it's nice around there. Amazing villas and even saw birds of prey hovering over the hills. I'm not sure on the species though as they have a big variety. But living up there would be amazing. As for rain, it's only hammered it down early hours in the morning, when in bed. That's it. There has been the odd scattered shower in the day, but nothing heavy. The views are incredible. But the town itself is nice as fuck itself. @nudgewould like it up there I think.
  9. I agree about Kano. He's an underrated actor to be honest. Talented lad.
  10. Yeah the channel 4 original one was better due to how gritty and dark it was. Now it's become more "hollywoodized". It's still worth the watch though and I watched the first 2 episodes on the plane on Sunday.
  11. To be fair though, that is one of the benefits to being a copper; free drugs
  12. Did you ever go to Mijas when down this way? @Stan @DeadLinesman Unreal up there, genuinely beautiful as fuck. I take it back about Fuengirola being shithole also. I went down some bad areas at the start, but there are many nice parts as well.
  13. Haha I have done. It's a good one that. Well built and has a natural feel to it. It's actually a nice place to be honest. Mijas tomorrow I think.
  14. I noticed on the weather app that, even though it's raining where I'm staying, it's sunny in Fuengirola, so I've popped down here for the day. But the rain isn't bad anyway, just showers, and it's not cold, like it was i Manchester. The lightning when descending into Malaga was also a spectacle that you don't see everyday. I've got to say, Fuengirola looks quite rough, but at the same time, it looks like there is alot here to do, etc.
  15. Not enough room with all the sex toys, gimp masks and leather clothing. Fuck it, shit happens, I will still go.
  16. Yeah, there has been that as well but flights are still on atleast. That may also clear up by the time I'm there. Looks like I'll have to pack these:- As it stands, it'll be shit weather for all but 2 of the days . Meanwhile, Lancashire is set to have nice spring weather.
  17. Honestly, I could book a trip to Australia in the middle of their summer and it would piss it down with rain and be 10 degrees @Devil-Dick Willie, @Toinho Saying that, I wasn't going to South Spain for the weather, or I wouldn't have booked it for March, but you'd still expect it to be sunny and 18 or so degrees, which would be perfect for visiting the Mountainous areas and exploring local towns. I'm only using Benalmádena as a base as it's literally central to everywhere I plan to visit, I know someone there, I'm a member of a cannabis social club(for the evenings) and it's easy to reach from Málaga airport, which is ideal. But heavy rain will pretty much ruin all plans. Funnily enough, I chose March rather than January as I thought the weather would be better, but it was actually far nicer in Jan . I should have gone to the Canaries this time, or even Cape Verde.
  18. It's going to rain all week next week, after there has been a drought there for 8 months. I genuinely couldn't think of anything worse, but they won't let me cancel it and change it to Tenerife. What aload of shit.
  19. And the only place you stop in is Morecambe...
  20. To be honest parts of Latin American countries are pretty much at war themselves in theory because even though most are drug wars, they aren't ordinary ones. The violence near the boarders in Colombia, the Cartel wars in Mexico or even the gang wars in parts of Brazil and Honduras, for example, are certainly what I'd regard as being at war technically. They are practically on the same level as a civil war, especially the Mexican one. Then again they are also countries that people can visit without problems, barring they avoid specific parts. This is the difference between said countries and certain African or Middle Eastern Asian countries, where they are literally no go zones completely. Either way, it's sad how even in this day and age there is so much blood shed, whatever the country or continent, and the people who most suffer are usually ones who aren't the actual cause, but rather manipulated and brainwashed. What stands out the most here however is the threat of nuclear warfare, which could literally end humanity. I don't think it's a case of people caring less about the civil war currently occurring in Ethiopia and Sudan, as I'd say most would like to see world peace, but more the threat of it going nuclear. As for Uruguay Ricardo, that would actually be a great option. When are we all going?
  21. If world war III starts, I've decided I'm going to seek refuge in Latin America, as they probably wouldn't get involved. Do you think Brazil will have me?@El Profesor
  22. 3 weeks today exactly and I'll be in the Costa del sol. The flight was cheap as fuck, so I paid an extra 20 each way for extra leg room and bigger hand luggage.
