You can't see a reflection of the sun either like you can with the piss poor efforts from the likes of myself, @Stan, @Dr. Gonzo.

@nudge you can only fly to the South airport from Manchester so I'm looking at staying down there as my base, although I would have preferred the North myself to be honest. Another factor is the weather is guaranteed to be more favourable in the South in November too. You can also easily get to Teidi from there and also this place, which is where I'm definitely heading:- Flights have been changed from Málaga to Tenerife sur for the 9th-17th November, so it's definitely happening . It's also an early flight so I will have plenty of time on my first day. I was looking at the weather from November last year and if it's the same as that(19 lows, 24 highs), it'll be perfect for doing a bit of everything. Also nice photos Inga, they look far more professional than the ones the rest of us on here post . Did you end up going to Masca?

I've got the option of changing my original Málaga flight to another destination, so, instead of Barcelona, in early November I'm going to go to.... Tenerife. I might as well, as it'll still be warm then. Probably highs of 24 and I can change my flight to there instead of cancelling and booking other flights. The air b&bs on offer also look too tempting.

The only thing I keep in my back pocket is a lighter haha. Maybe some winter sun in Feb or so? That's if there aren't any saharan sandstorms again

That's the worst place to keep a wallet to be honest. One thing I don't get is why women always put their mobile in their back pocket? Anyway, I have a 10 day trip in 2 weeks on Tues, but I'm thinking of cancelling it and going to Barcelona in early november instead. I was thinking of going when Barcelona play Bayern, but that's literally the only week I can't, so the week after looks more likely. It'd be nice to get to a game and also visit the likes of Tarragona and Gerona. I also have some mates(or "associates") there, like in the Málaga region. It hasnt worked out with that woman I was meeting in Málaga and since I've been in the region during my last 4 trips now, there is no point. There are things still to explore down there but I can easily go again.

You lead him into getting mugged, I always knew there was something fishy about you . I always wear a travel belt under my t shirt(which you can't even feel) to put money in while abroad(especially in bigger cities and I especially would in Barcelona/Roma, etc) and don't carry a wallet. Mobile would be worse. No Google map, no WhatsApp, no Internet banking...

It's not that he's that bad, but it's just pointless. It'll be interesting to see how Bellerin does. He lost his way over the years due to injuries, etc, but he did pretty well at Real Betis last season, so he might have turned a corner.

That signing makes no sense considering how Balde is playing and how Alba is still good enough as a squad player. Alba, Roberto and Piqué shouldn't be regular starters anymore but are certainly handy squad players still atleast. Hopefully Xavi sticks with Balde, as he has been doing so far.

Raphinha has been impressive. Koundé has been a beast at right back in his first few games, even though he's more a centre back. Even got 2 assists vs Sevilla. Eric García is like a new player. Lewandowski is Lewandowski, just doesn't stop scoring wherever he goes. Dembélé is really showing his talent now that he's finally stayed fit. Gavi at just 18 is keeping de Jong on the bench, he's that good. Young Balde, another 18 year old, has been impressive at left back and kept Jordi Alba benched. Pedri continues to show his class. Araújo is already one of the world's best defenders in my opinion. Fati has shown plenty of sparks coming off the bench in most games(especially deciding the game vs Real Sociedad), but still doesn't look 100% at his best. Given his injury record, bringing him on as a super sub for 20-30 mins in each game is probably wise for now. Whenever he's come back, he'll be rushed. Xavi did the same with Dembélé last season. It's a huge contrast from the team of this time last year, which was looking very grim and bleak, other than some young players showing great progress. It's still early doors obviously but this is already a very strong side and the young players aren't being cast aside for your older, past it names anymore. García is favoured over Piqué, Balde over Alba.... Busquets still has some in the tank though so he doesn't need replacing quite yet.

I've loved it. My Mediterranean tan was dying a little bit, but this week I have been able to top it back up and now I'm brown as fuck again. There hasn't been a cloud in the sky all week here in Lancashire with highs of 28. Not bad.

Lewandowski, Raphinha, Christensen, Kessie, Dembélé and Sergi Roberto all registered. Just Koundé to go when a few other players leave.
-
No but most should be for tomorrow, other than Koundè and possibly one more player, both of which will have to wait. Hopefully the other is Sergi Roberto.
-
Ter Stegen Dest -- Kounde -- Araújo -- Alba Pedri -- Busquets -- De Jong / Gavi Dembélé -- Lewandowski -- Fati No doubt Araújo will play right back over Dest, but that'd be my team above, obviously rotating with players like Raphinha, Christensen, Aubameyang, Kessie, Ferrán, etc. Strong squad that to be honest. As good as any in Europe right now with a balance of experience and younger players. It's whether Xavi can have them playing consistently or not. But he'll have to as the club's future is potentially dependant on instant success... Also de Jong staying or not is still up in the air.

Good on them. Another reason why Germany is more progressive than England. It could concern you actually mate. It will improve your economy massively and you already have a great one, or atleast did before Covid.

Koeman did well with giving young players a chance and even won a trophy in some shit circumstances but at the same time, I'd never say he would be the correct man right now, for example, in taking the club forward. But I think his problem with Puig was personal to be honest.

Germany close to completely legalising cannabis @Tommy

He showed talent in the first team when given a chance about 2.5 years ago under Setién. Koeman came in, accused him of leaking information to the press, never played him and since then he has fallen massively down the pecking order and has an array of much better young talent ahead of him. I'm surprised he's going to the USA mind as he should have gone to a lower half La Liga club. It could have revived him. He doesn't seem to really have any care or desire to progress though. Koeman didn't like him, but he didn't help himself either. As Balón said, he lacks when it comes to the physical aspect also.

I've finally persuaded a mate of mine to come to Spain with me in Sept, he booked it last night to join me after recently getting his passport, going to Turkey and Lanzarote and now wanting to visit more spots. Anyway, to the point; he wants to go Mexico(to where you head to), and so do I of course, so we are going to book it for later next year. It'd be better going with someone. Europe and Canada on my own is nothing, but Latin America is a bit, well, different. I also want to go to Canada still, so I'll have to see on the money situation as flights across the Atlantic are expensive, it's not like the £100 flights in Europe. But I would love to have finally been to both by the end of next year and shut up talking about it . You never know, you might suffer from "el síndrome de Estocolmo" and take a liking to them.
