  1. Big win without Pedri, Araújo and Balde against a tough Villarreal who attacked well and made for a great game. Ferrán looks a different player so far this season when coming off the bench. A solid pre season as well. Yamal or de Jong man of the match. Solid game from Gavi. Lewandowski with a needed goal.
  2. 2023-24: Lamine Yamal Very impressive so far, both in pre season and so far in LaLiga. But let's not add too much pressure too soon or burn the kid out.
  3. This isn't more like it. 2-2, can't say that Villarreal haven't been the better team though.
  4. Gavi to make it 1-0 after a lovely ball in from Yamal, who at 16, already looks to have won himself a spot in the team. Just as I write that and it's 0-2, great team team goal, de Jong to finish it off. This is more like it @Stan
  5. It's like playing Fifa on amateur mode. Messi and Busquets could have still played for a top European team for a year or 2.
  6. They are sure making their mark too. Showing @Coma and @Eco what soccer is!
  7. Alot of top players come from the French league and go on to leagues like the Prem and LaLiga. I don't see the issue. Doku is a talented young player and a dangerous dribbler. His stats could be better but then he'd be playing with better players and under a better manager at City. Interesting signing in my opinion.

  9. Ferrán to make it 2-0. It's been a very difficult game but the substitutions have made an impact.
  10. Yes, about time. Pedri. Gundogan with a lovely weighted pass something that has been lacking.
  11. That was blatant as fuck that. Even the Argentine commentator has been laughing about it saying it's a blatant pen. What's the point of VAR even existing? Other than that though, the attack has been flat. Looks better since Fati came on though.
  12. They only seem to check VAR when it suits them in LaLiga it seems and even when they do check it, they seem to see things that nobody else do, like Gavi's "handball" last week
  13. Bellingham has scored 3 in 2 so far, occupying the attacking midfield role, behind the striker. He's going to be a problem for Barcelona's title chances this season that lad, it has to be said.
  14. Yeah, I just noticed that now. Shame really. She is genuine class and players like her are the ones that are taking the women's game to the next level.
  15. In fact, just looked it up now and it looks like she's been struggling with injuries for a while. Pen saved. Game on!
  16. 6 Barcelona players in the starting 11 and the current Ballon d'or winner, Alexia Putellas, is on the bench. Honestly, I haven't really watched any of this tournament, but why is Putellas even on the bench when she's the current world's best? Struggling to find her best? Carrying injuries?
  17. October: Andalucía(various places, Córdoba, Antequera and the coast) December: Fuerteventura I was going to go to Fuerteventura in Oct(well Sept), but finding anything was tough. I was even looking into Greek Islands. Fuerteventura in December will work out better though. I'm going to be exploring areas which are like a desert and it'll be cooler around that period, although probably still mid 20s. I can't fucking believe how cheap I've actually picked the holiday up for either. I usually book things separately, but booked that as a package since it'll be easier due to the transfers being included, etc. @Viva la FCB great to see you making the absolute most of your time.
  18. Harry Maguire was actually good before United though.
  19. Funnily enough, before the world cup last season, himself and Messi were PSG's best players and were a joy to watch.
  20. PSG should really win their league comfortably, yet they struggle in most games and rarely hammer their opponents. They were actually lucky to win Ligue 1 last season and I wouldn't be surprised if they didn't win it this season. It would be a terrible move for Bernardo and he is better off where he is.
  21. He's actually one of the most talented players I've seen, and is the one from recent generations who is the closest to Messi in terms of overall ability; passing, vision, dribbling, close control, first touch, wonder goals....But he'll never go down as a great due to injuries and poor career choices. He's wasted his career in many ways and could have been much more. Alot of top Brazilian players are unfortunately like that. It's great having the talent, but you need to put the work in as well. You could say Cristiano Ronaldo, for example, isn't as talented as Neymar, but Ronaldo will go down as a much greater player in the history books, as he knows how to mix talent with hard work and dedication and how to take care of himself.
  22. He's still going mad now Yamal is coming on. Watch out for this kid this season!
