  1. @Bluewolf still thinking he's "down with the youth"...
  2. I'd bring dinosaurs back personally, especially the T Rex and just release them in the countryside
  3. I wonder if they can crawl inside your t-shirt, bite you and disappear without being noticed like snakes can?

You've already got 4 and 9, so with 2 more you'd literally be getting recruited by the X-Men.
  5. Spiders in Europe eat tiny flies, the odd species may eat a wasp or bee. Your standard Aussie spider:-
  6. He should have named it Pogba after Granddad's favourite player

Always the same spots and they still get you every time. Everything seems to attack in Australia. This may explain why our Aussie members on here are as they are...

I don't think it was a false widow as I've never seen any in the house or near it ever, although you see them all the time on building sites, they always live under the clips on the fences. The fang marks look too wide apart for a spider that small also, this was something larger. 15 spiders in the UK can bite apparently, it's just that it's very rare. I was probably asleep, rolled over on it and it had me. Also walking through webs is horrible, especially when it all ends up in your mouth.

For some reason, no, but the bees in England are quite dormant to be honest. Those aussie ones probably want to kill everything like every other species there . Either way, spider wins.

Horrifying looking creatures The most welcome visitors when you're away(or live in a warmer climate) are lizards . You can't beat a lizard. Spiders are fine to be honest, I have no beef with them, or atleast didn't until the other day, the little bastard.

I think we should leave it there with the Suárez' accusations or we'll have@Dr. Gonzo and @Rick appearing with t-shirts on to protest his innocence ...

I actually saw a huge spider in the shed a few months back. I saw a moth in the corner of my eye flapping in a Web, I turned around to look and some huge spider just came out and grabbed it. I'm not sure which kind that was, but it didn't look friendly. They are actually probably the best predators in the world pound 4 pound.

The Aussies will take the piss now because it's not a "real widow". Also fuck a scorpion. I bet they would do some damage.

The worst are flying cockroaches, the most deadly creature on the planet. They simply just need to fly or run and you die of pure fear .

Come on John, you'd know if it was an adder It's 100% a spider, which species it is is the question.

Nah I live in Lancashire. There are adders I suppose but they are rare. It's for the best I stay away from countries with deadly snakes to be honest...

I was bitten the other day off something, maybe when asleep or while putting my tshirt on, I'm unsure. Either way, it has puffed out, swelled up and become painful after like 5 days. The thing is, they are 2 fang marks, which means it can only be a spider. Only I can get bitten off a spider in the UK. The problem is, I hate phoning the doctors..it takes 10 hours to get through and then they will either tell you to take a picture and send it to them or go to a chemist(how professional), then the pharmacist will tell you you need to see a GP. I've had it all before and I end up just going to A&E when something worsens.
