That's actually what I was trying to figure out myself

Yeah they have those levels everywhere in Spain, but the worst at the moment is having to wear masks in crowded places. So that's nothing to be honest. As it stands also, there is no tests going to to Spain or when coming back, so hopefully that doesn't change in March.

Part 3: A few of Benalmádena:-
-
There's other countries that I want to visit before the USA(especially México, Colombia and Canada) but whenever USA does come up, there can only be California mate, so we might still get high one day yet . Fuengirola is actually one of the spots I'm going to check out mate. Benalmádena in Autumn and spring is peaceful and not as jam packed with tourists(atleast it wasn't in October when I visited for the day), even the beaches were only at 5% capacity despite it being 26 degrees. It's only 7 mile from Málaga airport and a close train or bus ride to the likes of Fuengirola and Mijas and you can get the cable car up into the mountains from there. It seems like the perfect base in order to do some exploring. Those little shits are everywhere nowadays and if not them, then Ring-neck Parakeets. They seem to thrive anywhere and take over the local bird populations. Little bastards I think there still are restrictions in the Canaries, but we'll see what happens closer to May or June time. Fuerteventura does look amazing though, especially its cristal clear waters, sand dunes and great landscapes.

I was looking at that national park the other day funnily enough, it looks amazing. The main 2 islands on the cards are Tenerife and Fuerteventura as I haven't been to either, but visited both Gran Canaria and Lanzarote as a kid. Did you end up on any of the other islands?
-
Did you manage to get any Maui Waui out there? Hawaii does look amazing it has to be said. I'm guessing the flight isn't too long for you either is it? Speaking of heights, I'm back down the Costa del sol for a week in March(but to a different part), and I'm going up Monte Calamorro in a cable car. From up there you can see every city and town along the Costa del sol and if it's a clear enough day, you can see Gibraltar and Morocco. I'm also going to check out Mijas, a little village in the mountainous region. Then I think some island hopping in the Canaries(which would involve volcanos) for a few weeks is on the cards in May or June if the covid situation doesn't change again. After that, and if covid doesn't fuck everything up this time, I will be heading somewhere west towards the Americas, where yet? We'll see..

What the fuck, I genuinely thought you were sat close to the sea. But now I see it now that you've mentioned it. You beat me for being the highest then..

Here's more of Málaga for @nudge:- There's more, but it takes a while, so you'll have to wait for part 2

Are we having a sun set picture contest or what? Difference is with mine and yours is that I had to walk up a fucking mountain to take mine . Impressive how the Romans built a path leading right up to a fortress at the top though. Steep as fuck, but so brilliantly constructed.

@Panna King used to sniff my fingers after it

Probably mate, I've had loads of names.

I've recently had it. I had no symptoms at all and only got tested as my mother had it and I'd been in contact with her. I'm back at work Monday and don't need to self isolate now. Either I'm one of those asymptomatic people or the 8,555 vaccines I've had in the last 6 months are effective.

Look at the colour of that sea! Incredible. How long are you there for then?
-
@Stan when are you off to Jamaica from Barbados? And how long for? I look forward to heading about it. @nudge I also forgot to post you some pictures of my last trip and it's been about 3 months now . But I'll upload some later on.

From Sunday league and street style football.
-
Rules relaxed again where you only have to have a test 2 days after arriving back in England, as it was when I went away in October. Hopefully it stays like that for March!
-
Some of the goals I've scored on this are unreal. Ansu Fati and Pedri to 99 overall rating on career mode. @Cicero Created a club "Lancaster City" and built it from scratch(but from the Championship, as I couldn't be bothered starting from league 2). 10 years into it and I'm now slowly building a future team of youth.

I'm actually going back to the Costa Del sol(further down the coast) in march for 8 days(everything is booked) so I'm hoping to go up into the hills in a cable car. Like you, I want to visit some mountain villages. Well, it was technically my third trip during the pandemic, as I went to Barcelona last March, just as it was starting, Amsterdam in August between the lockdowns and Málaga the week before last, so I haven't done too badly. I'll post some pictures when I can be arsed. It's beautiful down there though and I was pleasantly surprised with Benlmàdena(which I visited for the day), as it has much more character than I thought it would considering how it's effectively a tourist spot. I suppose it depends on the time of year. It's better going to Spain in Spring or Autumn. You go to the beach and it was at like 10% capacity despite reaching 28 or so degrees. I was also watching the sea one late afternoon and saw Orcas jumping! They weren't too far out either. I thought I was seeing things at first, then others started looking and pointing and then it dawned on me what they were.

Only until Friday, 5 days in total(I got here yesterday afternoon) but I wish I made it 3 weeks or so now and did a bit of travelling through Andalucía but the potential changes in restrictions is what puts me off booking for any longer. I also forgot how amazing it is when landing in Málaga and flying over the mountainous region as you approach. Some of those lakes up there are picture-esque! I'm going to pop down to Benalmádena tomorrow as I know someone who is staying out there. I actually came down with a cold on Wed, but fortunately I got rid of it and never devolved a cough or chest infection. I was going to kill the cunt who passed me it at work . How is Crete?
-
It's lovely weather here, perfect temperatures. It was around 24-25 today, just right, not too hot but still shorts and t shirt weather. Its going to reach 27 on Thurs they say.
-
You've travelled so much that you've probably forgotten where "home" is Crete looks amazing to honest and I could see me loving it there. I've been to another Greek island(Aegina) and also Athens in terms of main land Greece, although I was quite young at the time. I definitely need to get to the Carribbean part of Latin America when everything is truly back to "normal".
-
Are you still in Crete or back home now? I wouldn't have minded Crete myself thinking of it. It looks nice.
