Just bought that ready for when they become mandatory @nudge I've decided not to go away though as there is no point. You'd spend shitloads and it would be an average experience. It's too hot in Spain to be wearing a mask ALL the time. Sunbathing with a mask on? There is no sense at all. I actually saw a nice apartment to rent in Malaga for a good price. It is designed for 4 people but it has a big terrace, etc. I'll have to book that in the future, the apartment is a perfect location as well.

Just bought one of these. They tell us to wear a mask but never state which kind...
-
I'm going to make some phonecalls this week, phone a few hotels and airlines to make sure they are running and conjure something up. If I'm off that week(in 2 weeks time), then I may aswell go somewhere rather than be sat at home wanking for 7 days.
-
You should be alright in Malta as it stands but it's whether anything changes throughout the next few months. If I'm off the 27th-31st then I might aswell go somewhere while I can and then work all year and take advantage of it. Netherlands would be relaxed I'd have thought but I'm after beaches. San Sebastian could be one. How did you get there when you went? Bilbao airport, then a train?
-
It just doesn't sound appealing at all to go somewhere(Andalucía) and wear a mask outside in 40 degree heat..I'd have a red and white face and literally be wearing Man United colours. I'd look like @DeadLinesman when he's got his face paint on for the City derby. That is other than the beach I think, but surely the beach would leave you at more at risk of contracting the virus, since it'll be packed? Wearing them in shops, public transport, etc is fine as people have to work in them, it's only fair, but outside while walking seems extreme. I'll have to look into a few places. Maybe the Canaries? As it's all regional rules as you said.
-
What are the rules like in Croatia by the way? I might go there. Wearing a mask on a plane is fine by me, but never outside. There is Greece but no direct flights from.the UK.
-
Why quote that part but not the part after it? The part you quoted makes no sense on its own as that wasn't the point. If boarders are open then people should have a choice whether they wear a daft mask or not. In shops it's fair enough, but not while walking on a street,in a park or anywhere else outside. If it's that extreme then it's pointless having boarders open for tourists full stop as walking around with masks on in 38 degree heat where your head goes brown and face pale white is hardly the idea of fun is it? They just want your money, forget your experience. I'd assume all responsibility. Same with anyone else. You can't force people to wear a mask outside. Either way if people aren't toddlers and the state aren't their nanny, then why are they telling people to wear masks as if we are toddlers and they are our nanny?
-
Actually forget this, you've got to wear masks in the street now as of Monday. What a ridiculous rule. If it's that unsafe to travel there that you have to wear a mask as if you're in Cherynobl, then boarders shouldn't even be open. All it is is greed. Boarders shouldn't even be open if that's how the rules are.

So there is an 80% chance I'll be booking Malaga for the 27th June to 1st July(in 2 weeks), barring the other fella I work with as I'd have no real need to go in that week.

Brazil and Jamaica were always the 2 and then it started to become more Mexico and Colombia. The latter is the one that is the top of my list now and had it not been for covid, I'd actually have been travelling to those 2 countries(Mexico and Colombia) and would have been planning it now ready for the end of this year/beginning of next. Covid has been a bit of a financial blow though so it's about focusing on one country a time now and Colombia is the one. It's not that I haven't gotten around to going but never had anyone who is up for going and I didn't dare go on my own. People say they are up for going, but never are when it comes to the crunch. But now I've gone away on my own in Europe a few of times(Spain and Netherlands), I now have more confidence to go on my own if I have to. In the end, you meet people anyway. Fuck it, you only live once. As for holidays, of the 2 fellas I'm working with, one is going away to Croatia in a few weeks and the other one will likely have a week off. If so, then I'll have to have a week off myself, so I might fuck off somewhere in a couple of weeks, I'm going to have a look about now. Even just for 4 days. Only problem is, it's too packed at this time of the year. March-May and October are the best times to go away I think. It might not be as hot, but it's far better.

You need to take up golf or fishing or something
-
This one always gets me. The palms of my hands sweat watching that and my toes tingle.
-
I'll end up having to go to Whitley Bay instead
-
Well hopefully these boarders stay open and then I can head to South Spain around the 2nd of Oct for a week since I'm back at work Monday. Was going to book it before but it's a bit early yet. Best waiting and doing a last minute thing I'd say due to the uncertainty.

Closest big city would be Tarragona or Barcelona, but even they'd be a good hour/hour and half drive I would have thought. Lleida is quite out of the way.

You should have a go mate. Get fifa on, if they have it for the Nintendo. If you was to build a team on career mode, you'd end up as hooked on it as anyone
-
You should have rang Nintendo first to see if you could blag s new one of them mate. In about about a 5 year period I had literally 3 playstation 3s randomly just stop working on me and Sony replaced 2 of them for free, while I only paid about 70 quid(I think) for the third one. Funnily enough I never had a playstation 1 or 2 fuck up on me. And the PS4 has been fine(although I hardly use it for games). You're not one of these who starts a job and doesn't finish it are you? Or you put up a fence in the garden and as soon as there's a breeze, adiós..

That has Tommy out of Power in it doesn't it? I was thinking of watching it just because of that. He was a class character in Power. I would be interested to know just how many mafia bosses, snitches, lawyers, ex-girlfriends, etc that he killed throughout the series as well

Go into shops and banks covering your face, drinking in the streets..I genuinely didn't think I'd ever hear that.
-
Sat out in the park today, this blasting on the bluetooth speaker, smoking a big fat one while chilling in the 30 degree sun. It's been lovely today.

As for barrios, not all are that bad anymore. It just shows change can be made. Hopefully all barrios and favellas in South America are like this one day. A lot of it comes down to the media and the news also. They make the world sound a scarier place than it is. No, I meant when you go on holiday in Europe mate(after saving money), not general day to day life. I wish I was on 3 grand a month You spend that amount as you're always doing something, eating out, drinking(or smoking that good stuff), buying stupid shit you wouldn't normally buy, tipping waitresses and barmaids, etc and you can spend shitloads of money easily doing this, although in general day to day life this is obviously not the case. You're right with stabbings though, it's actually plagued with them in this country, although most of that affects young lads stabbing each other over bullshit. Also terrorist attacks can happen in any big city in Europe now.
