  1. Fuck that, I would end up in a serious accident if I was to start cycling around there
  2. It definitely seems worth looking into to as it's a beautiful looking place. Bilbao is also another worth visiting do you could kill 2 birds with 1 stone there. Hotels probably aren't too expensive either. Look on the bright side:- you don't need to visit there now as you have literally seen everything..
  3. @Tommy has been watching Sons of Anarchy too much.
  4. The last 2 times I stayed in a hotel near the Lelylaan train station, so it was a bit out of the centre(but easy to get to via tram), but I can't find any rooms there that night and wouldn't have minded staying in a different area this time either way. I will look into that then mate. I suppose if you did it that way, you could stay in Bilbao for 5 hours or so before getting the coach, barring you can get an early enough flight.
  5. Looks like hotel prices have shot up in Amsterdam for the start of April and there aren't too many options. But I've still got that at top my list as I fancy going 1 last time before going somewhere else. It's becoming contagious.. Barcelona was the original idea for then but it's difficult finding flights unless I go from Liverpool, but even though it's as close to me as Manchester is, it's a farse to get to(abd even worse coming back) via train. It looks like I might have to go Lisbon at this rate... @Machado How did you manage to reach San Sebastian @Stan? I've looked into it before in the past and it seems like a ballache to get to?
  6. I've always liked American bulldogs while on the subject of dogs, there are 3 different types of them. I prefer them over British Bulldogs definitely. @Berserker I like Rottweilers as well, amazing dogs. Also Bullmastiffs.
  7. It wouldn't surprise me mate. 2pac's material before signing for Deathrow and all his unreleased tracks are his best work in my opinion. His music with Stretch especially:- "Revenge is sweet, on the street, understand me// gotta' retaliate, get it straight, locate the nigga's family// And I'm rolling in my jeep top speed, ready to pull the trigger on any bitch ass nigga who got weed//
  8. It's probably a working dog as they are often used for hunting and the guy, with what he appears to be wearing, looks like a gamekeeper type. The 1 in the 2nd pic looks better as it doesn't have its ears cut back to make it look more fierce. The 1st pic in all was probably a bad example, although I just posted the first pic which came up on google. My favourite dog is probably the Japanese Akita. I love them.
  9. What about the Dogo argentino? Amazing dogs. Or better, without its ears cut back!:- I'd own 1 if I was @Berserker. They are banned over here though, which makes them difficult to get hold of.
  10. I see them all the time on the river, canal and even when fishing, but they always like to keep that distance from humans so to see one sat there not giving a fuck at all in a busy market was funny
  11. I forgot to mention in here but I saw a Heron on Tuesday just sat on top of the fish stall in one of the biggest markets in Europe; the Albert Cuyp markt in Amsterdam. Herons usually like to keep well away from humans, but this fella didn't give a fuck and was just sat there, probably waiting for fish @nudge, @Bluewolf

We need to convince that cunt @Fusion to start posting again. He literally browses the forum all the time but never posts.
  14. Speaking of Rayo, Mario Suarez was the best player on the park yesterday against Atletico Madrid and it makes you wonder why he went to Rayo(with all due respects to them) rather than a side such as Real Betis, as he still has a lot left to give and has only just turned 31. A coup for Rayo either way, they have done well to sign him.
  15. Why didn't they actually help the dog rather than taking pictures of it to get a newspaper story out of it?

Is @SirBalon ever going to return?
  17. When taking a few sneaky pics down there(but not of the prostitutes themselves, I wouldn't do that out of respect to be fair), a bunch of Hells Angels walked past and got in the way of it:-
  18. They make me realise how shit English cities are and how much better mainland European ones are. But the on the other hand, you see Lucas' pics and remember how amazing our countryside is. As for Dan, don't worry about him, he's likely having a lot of fun somewhere now
  19. I went outside the Heineken Museum, but not in it mate. As for Ajax's stadium, I will probably do a tour of that on the next trip as I didn't get around to it due to already fitting a lot in. Plus I doubt they'd have had tours on Tuesday either due to a game(vs Real Madrid) the day after, as that is how it usually works. Those travel cards which allow you to travel by any Train, Tram, Metro, bus, or even the Ferry across the river are a god send. I like to walk as much as I can there as it's a very walkable city, but sometimes you need to jump on trams, especially to get from my hotel to whereever I needed to go. They are spot on. I hated the tram last time as I went as it was on a weekend and they were busy as fuck but with it being Mon-wed this time, they were much quieter. A tip though, make sure you get the tram going in the right direction and not just look at the number of the tram like I did . I luckily noticed, got off at the next stop and redeemed myself.
  20. Ye grey area has some of the best I had out there. The best strains were Gelato and Lemonade from coffeeshop 1ehulp(Jordaan area) and Blue Dream from Grey Area. But I had some top quality hash from a spot with a more local feel to it called coffeeshop solo. I met a group of Brazilian tourists in there as well, who along with a Dutch barmaid, were the soundest people I met on the trip. It was an experience to properly explore the likes of Vondelpark, the De Pijp area(the Albert Cuyp Markt is fantastic), Jordaan and see all the museums, etc from the outside. I saw far more on this trip, yet didn't spend as much. It also didn't prevent me from hitting bars and the red light districts at night still. Mixing it up while not overdoing it is the best way as it's easy to go overboard in a city like that and ruin the rest of your trip. Might book it again for end of march instead of Barcelona, then do the latter at the end of summer. It draws me back.
  21. Maybe it's actually bottles of semen? Especially if he bought if off those fellas outside... Anyway, I couldn't be doing with Turkey myself. It's not my type of country at all.
  22. @Stan when you said Grasshopper, did you mean that massive steak house and bar place? As I went past it like 20 minutes after you mentioned it on this when I had popped on for 5 minutes last night. I was thinking you meant the coffeeshop. It does look good that place(the steakhouse/bar thing) and I will have to pop in next time.
