The thing with owls is that you don't see them much but can always hear them calling.
-
Pet ones are fine(even if they are still creepy looking with those long tails) and to be fair, I even feel sorry for wild ones as they don't really bother you and you will only be bothered by them if you're a messy cunt who leaves rubbish everywhere, but they are just creepy. If you had ever seen them while night fishing, you might see them in a different light. Speaking of night fishing, it was unreal down south as alsorts came out at night, no rats(just mice and voles in terms of rodents) and we had bats flying within an inch of our faces catching mosquitos, the tawny owls were out, badgers...
-
I hate rats and you see them a lot when you go night fishing since they are nocturnal. They don't come near you or bother you as such, but they just look creepy as fuck. It's those long tails. One of these is needed here if you ask me

Horrible things, especially the albino one.
-
Same, fuck that. I'd swim near Orcas/Killer whales though.

I just had the impression that the 'my blacky' one reflected my search history.

@6666, @José, @JOSHBRFC It's amazing just how much material 2pac had out. He must have literally lived in a studio. To think he was only 25 when he died makes it even more impressive just how much material he has out.

I knew Sevilla would win that one when I saw the line-ups. It's not that it was necessarily a bad line-up fielded by Valverde as there were some very good players in the side, although Sevilla are 4th in La Liga for a reason and that's because they are a strong side, so you can't expect to beat them with second string. I get the impression that Valverde isn't taking the cup very seriously this season, but to be honest, after winning 4 in a row, I think that total focus should be on the Champions League this year and of course La Liga.

I get that one all the time. There is certainly nothing to be ashamed of though if you were looking for a black woman. Black(and of course Indian and Latin) women have always done it for me.

It's funny as my mate was on about saying he wanted to see Wu-tang the other week and then that comes up. I'm going to look into it.

@Dr. Gonzo in Tijuana:-

Price for 3 days in Barcelona over the Easter Weekend(that would have been ideal due to not having to blag a few days off work so soon, it would also be vs Real Sociedad):- Price if it was end of March(which would actually be a better game since it's the Barcelona derby vs Espanyol):- No brainer. I'll have to blag it off as I'm already blagging 3 days off in February and I only started on this job in January. Fuck them though, if you're a sub-contractor, you can take time off when you want within reason and I wouldn't need anymore time off until the last week of August when I go down south. It's more expensive at weekends compared to through the week for flights and decent hotels in the centre, but Easter weekend is just ridiculous. If you could blaze for the whole journey then it wouldn't actually be that bad as you would just chill out eating and watching films before sleeping. It certainly help a lot in curing the boredom and help you sleep.

I'm flying with FlyBe in 3 week tomorrow. I've never flown with them before(they also nearly went out of business recently, which would have been my luck ), but to be honest, it doesn't really matter when you're only on it for just over an hour. It was cheap as fuck as well. Easyjet is usually the one. They are nothing special of course, but they are spot on for short flights and have nice hand luggage size restrictions. @Dr. Gonzo do you always fly business class on your long haul flights, or even done any in economy?

Alcudia would definitely be your best bet I'd say.
-
@JOSHBRFC, @Salford Kel That Manchester one would be worth going to.

Police are on their way to greet you now with a swab test

I was about 15 when I went to Mallorca. I went with my mam and dad as a family holiday, although once I got there, I bumped into mates from back home and ended up doing our own thing all holiday. It was Alcudia I went to. I'd say it was a great place to go for both family holidays or if a few lads went, although you'd have to go in the summer as it would be like a deserted island in the winter/autumn I bet.

I can even hear your Cali accent from here mate . To be honest mate, I probably wouldn't spend the whole trip getting hammered as that is actually one reason why I like the idea of starting to do some solo trips, there is nothing stopping me right now. When you go with the lads or whatever, it just ends up as one big beak and alcohol fuelled session, which is great(especially nowadays since getting smashed is more a special occasion thing), but you want to also experience what a country is about. This obviously doesn't include bud as I smoke that all the time anyway. Obviously I will still drink as the nightlife is a massive part of what these cities we have spoken of are about but I wouldn't mind visiting a few of those dispensaries most of all. Heaven. You'd definitely have to go on a shooting range if you visited Vegas also, since it would be rude not to. If you go to Vegas and don't get smashed, smoke some legal bud, bang a prostitute, do a bit of gambling and shoot some guns, then you may as well go back home . The problem with the flight is that you'd probably go to London first, then fly to LA, then stop for about 3 hours, then go to San Diego. It would be an absolute ballache. I will look into it all though. As I also said, I can't rule out New York, especially given how it's alot closer and that itself seems like an amazing city with so much character. But I do find the culture out in California as being more appealing. It would suit me there I'd say.
-
I wouldn't say I'd fear Mexico as some countries in Latin America(including there) and also Jamaica are actually more appealing to me than almost anywhere, although I reckon they'd be more ideal places to visit with a few of you, while certain cities in the USA and Australia(in terms of outside Europe) are ideal places for people to visit if they were to think "fuck it" and go on their own for 10 days or whatever. Obviously within a year things can change in terms of commitments, new relationships and what not, but I'll be doing it whatever. I've set the tone now. As for Mexico, it's actually a very popular country for English tourists these days and alot of people go there, mainly to get smashed or soak up the sun. But you definitely have to be wary of some cities, you do everywhere, but more so in some countries if you don't know them. I could even get smashed with you one night out there in San Diego while I was at it. You know more than me also, so maybe San Diego would be a better choice, although I'm guessing an even longer fucking flight. Is it also slightly cheaper there? I will see what happens as it's all thinking a little too far ahead anyway. A 5 night stag "night" in Vegas would be ruthless. I wouldn't be surprised if he didn't end up divorced before he even got married. I bet that was some "night" though as it does seem like one of the better cities in the USA(if not the world) to get absolutely off your face and go wild. It also seems a city you could just walk around exploring and speaking to random people while coming across some of the craziest shit you've ever seen in the process. You can also tell you have been out in the Cali too long when you're calling coke "blow" .
-
Cali is ridiculously expensive. I wouldn't like to live there, but it would be a great state to visit. Where do you live again mate as I always forget? Aren't you more south? A scouser moving over to the San Diego and then going on regular "business" trips to Tijuana. It sounds very legit that . To be honest, it would more likely end up being LA(with a day trip to Vegas) either way. Even staying Vegas and spending a day in LA, as either one would be brilliant I reckon. As for patience, there can be plenty of that mate as it'll be 2020 or so now as I mentioned. It can be planned to a tee and I can look about for good deals.
-
I was thinking it seems quieter than usual and that's not a positive thing. @SirBalon creates debate and is fundamental to the forum whether he's your cup of tea or not.
-
One of the worries could be it accidentally smashing you around the head with its tail, knocking you out and drowning you. But I'm a firm believer that these animals are no threat to humans(like other predators would be) unless they are in captivity where they are stressed. They are one animal that should never be kept in captivity. It's actually interesting how they are with humans in the wild and their curiosity as they are one of the rare species of animals that actually kill other animals just for fun. Otters, Cats and humans being 3 other notable mentions. So you'd think they would be one of the worst to encounter in the wild for us, although somehow they are the absolute opposite. They are giant dolphins pretty much.

Fuck it, I might to go to California in 2020 whether anyone is wanting to come with me or not. I've been flirting with this idea for a while, although long flights have always put me off, I couldn't think of anything worse than sat in some box for about 12 hours. Also a lot of it comes down to money as well. But it's time I fucked off somewhere like the USA for 10-14 days or so as you don't get any younger. While in Los Angeles, I could also visit Las Vegas for the day(only a short flight away), which would be class. The problem over there is the hidden fees you pay at hotels. You pay x amount for the hotel as normal then they charge you an extra 30 quid a night while you're there. That's something to be wary of so that you don't get stung. People say hostels would be an option, but if you think I'm staying in a hostel even for one night then you're living in cuckoo land. You'd end up waking up in the morning and @Toinho would have his balls in your mouth. Another option would be New York(shorter flight is a positive), as you could also fly to Toronto for the day, which would offer the opportunity to visit 2 countries in one trip. An option itself, in terms of California could even be San Diego, as a day out to Tijuana, Mexico would be an option itself. Or is going to Tijuana not wise these days? @José, @Dr. Gonzo It would have to be 2020 though as I've already got 3 trips planned this year(one which is booked for 3 weeks time), which could even turn into 4.
