@nudge you would have loved the Parakeets flying around in Vondelpark. I didn't even know they were there until I saw them flying about. It's amazing how they adapt to the wild in European cities as they have done so in others as well. They are only small and also bright in colour, so you'd expect them to be easy targets for birds of prey and even the likes of crows, but this doesn't seem to be the case and they thrive.

It was a very different trip this time as I went out and explored pretty much everywhere. If you go with the lads, it just turns into a big session down De Wallen area, you spend far far more money and end up feeling ill by the end of it. I thought going on my own might have been a bit daunting at times, but it was everything but. It was third time there, but I got to truly see the city this time and saw everything I wanted to plus more. I suppose it also helps that I am the type of person who will speak to any cunt, which makes everything easier. I didn't go overboard with the drinking and didn't have any spirits, coke or anything of the sort. I obviously blazed a lot of weed as well, although due to my high tolerance of it, it's not the equivalent of "getting fucked" for me. You're right about those cafes where you can drink and smoke. I much prefer them to the coffeeshops as they are more lively and having a pint with a spliff is much more sociable without a doubt. "Lost in Amsterdam" is brilliant and I'd recommend it to anyone, even if it's just for the fanny in there.

Grasshopper has shit weed I've heard to be fair mate. I've been to 7 others though, mainly out of the tourist traps where the bud is better. Currently in a bar called lost in Amsterdam where you can smoke bud and drink. I was in here last night as well , definitely go if you're ever in dam.

@Cicero Ed Gein was the best though. Look what they found when they raided his home:- Whole human bones and fragments[29] A wastebasket made of human skin[30] Human skin covering several chair seats[31] Skulls on his bedposts[32] Female skulls, some with the tops sawn off[33][31][30] Bowls made from human skulls[30] A corset made from a female torso skinned from shoulders to waist[31] Leggings made from human leg skin[30] Masks made from the skin of female heads[33][31][32] Mary Hogan's face mask in a paper bag[32] Mary Hogan's skull in a box[34] Bernice Worden's entire head in a burlap sack[35] Bernice Worden's heart "in a plastic bag in front of Gein's potbellied stove"[36] Nine vulvae in a shoe box[37] A young girl's dress and "the vulvas of two females judged to have been about fifteen years old"[38] A belt made from female human nipples[39] Four noses[28] A pair of lips on a window shade drawstring[28] A lampshade made from the skin of a human face[28] Fingernails from female fingers On a serious note, what the fuck leads people to commit such acts? It tends to always be males as well.

Only 1 day to go. I'm looking forward to getting away for a few days now.

There is already a film about him as I remember seeing it years ago. Absolute legend either way, what an inspiration

@José The idea was to use Juan Miranda(from the youth set-up) as second choice left-back, although in the end it hasn't really worked out as he's still too young, raw and not ready for that type of step yet. As I said at the time, I believe Cucurella would have been more ready to take that spot as it stands. Juan Miranda has more potential for the future, but right now I'd see Cucurella being more ready at this moment in time. It's difficult to find someone who can fill in for Alba as the lad is THAT good. You can't just go out and buy another top left-back as back up as they wouldn't be happy playing second fiddle.

If you're travelling all the way to Europe from the USA then you would have to visit Barcelona, there is so much to do there.

I get the odd one through my wage as well and actually got one just before going away for the weekend in December. I received a txt telling me how much I was getting that week(as you do) and noticed that I had about 150 quid extra on my wage that week. I then looked at my payslip and I had received a small tax rebate. It's not bad as on top of that I also receive them in around June/July time. I receive a letter through the door telling me how much I'm owed and then I go onto their website, claim it and it goes into my bank 3 days later. It's one of the benefits of working for agencies or sub contractors to be honest. You might not get holiday pay but you earn more per hour than if you were full time and receive tax rebates, which in the end works out better.
-
You'll know if it's a tax rebate as they will send you a letter with how much you're owed and how to claim it. I get them every year and there is never any emails involved.

2-0 as it stands after 75 minutes with goals from Semedo and Messi. Girona have actually had more chances though and are unlucky to be 2 down, specifically after forcing some nice saves from Ter Stegen and a goal line clearance from Pique, who is in much better form lately. The second goal was a nice finish from Messi, chipping the keeper. Alba and Suarez also heavily involved as always. Personally I think Semedo should be first choice over Sergi Roberto. I like Roberto, but Semedo is more natural there and offers more allround for me. Coutinho has been the weaklink and it's evident that Dembele is the main man for that role when fit. Then again, I'd even say this was the case if Coutinho was in his best form as the Frenchman is a different class of player and is only going to get better and better.
