  2. Allegedly he's already negotiating with MLS clubs. That can be granted, he's apparently not unprincipled enough to whore himself to a Saudi club. That deserves a honorable mention.

  9. No special occurences this time, just a point average slighty above our usual standards. Matchday 32 1) Viva la FCB 10 points 2) Michael 9 points 2) Rucksackfranzose 9 points 2) Tommy 9 points 5) CaaC(John) 6 points 6) Bluewolf 4 points 7) Stan 2 points Finally the first player passed the 200 points mark. Table after 32 matchdays 1) @Michael 203 points 2) @Viva la FCB 197 points 3) @Bluewolf 193 points 4) @CaaC (John) 189 points 5) @Tommy 187 points 6) @Stan 183 points 7) @Coma 182 points 8- Rucksackfranzose 164 points 9) @londonerlilie 139 points 9) @nawoo 139 points
  10. Well if the league table after 34 matches is the same as it's now you'll also get 3 points each for predicting Bayern's and Leipzig spot bang on, if that's a consolation. At least the former isn't possible for the majority predicting Bayern would win the title.
  11. Sorry, yet have to piss on your parade. Tommy predicted Leverkusen to become champions, which is worth 3 points, others predicted Leverkusen to finish in top 4, which is worth 1 point, though. That's a 2 point advantage for him. Still only one player got points for their cup winner prediction, though. @6666 with Leverkusen reaching the final that'*s 3 points mininum and even 5 , if Leverkusen will win it versus Lautern. Since everybody else got 0 points with their prediction that's an advantage of 3 and potentially 5 points. Oops
  12. Well, the club's officials will have a lot to answer at the next annual member meeting, I guess. Sacking Fischer was the wrong reaction to the issues they faced at the begin of the season, in my honest opinion, that aside it never looks good for a club, if they sack a manager not even half a year after appointing them. As for the progress after last season: Qualifying for the CL was an outlier that couldn't be expected to be repeated. That might even have been a poisoned gift in hindsight, since Union left their way from a club trying to get the best out of players, that either didn't live up to the expectations you could have had for them before, or were just average talented Buli players anyway, by forming them to an unity, that was better a sum than the single parts suggested, to a team signing big names. Probably too many steps at once for them. That said the players have to take a fair share of the blame as many of them, especially those new recruited with a reputation, underperformed much too often.
  13. Already the second manager they sack this season! Union apparently are in panic they might finish this seaon on the relegation play off spot.U19 coach Marco Grote takes over as a caretaker.
  14. Wish her good luck! On a side note: 32 is an extraordinaryly young age for a manager with the highest possible licence!
  15. Given there's a bonus round, that's really unlikely. If it happens nonetheless I'll give you as many choices for the tie-breaker as potential winners exist and will let the participants decide which tie-breaker to use without mentioning who'd win when using which tie-breaker!
  16. Game 131: no goals Game 132: 57th min, please
  17. Subaverage matchday for us! Matchday 32 1) CaaC(John) 8 points 2) Rucksackfranzose 6 points 3) Michael 4 points 3) Stan 4 points 5) Tommy 3 points 5) Viva la FCB 3 points 7) Bluewolf 2 points 8- 6666 1 point Given how far the season has progressed it's stupifying how tight the table is: Three people are sharing the top spot, and even Bluewolf on 6th spot is only trailing them by 4 points! Table after 32 matchdays 1) @6666 220 points 1) @Stan 220 points 1) @Viva la FCB 220 points 4) @Michael 219 points 5) @Tommy 218 points 6) @Bluewolf 216 points 7) @Coma 187 points 8- Rucksackfranzose 178 points 9) @CaaC (John) 168 points 10) @nawoo 149 points

  20. Kopf hoch @Faithcore! Bedauere, daß der MSV abgestiegen ist, anderenfalls wäre unsere Niederlage in Duisburg wenigstens für irgendwas gut gewesen! Hoffe Ihr steigt nächstes Jahr wieder in die 3.Liga auf!
  21. Dortmund and Reus unanimously decided to end his contract at BVB come the end of this season. Somehow his career almost had a tragic quality. Joined Dortmund in 2012, when they were German champions just to stay for 12 years without winning a single title with them; played a Cl final losing it, and was a regular Germany International starter, when he was injured that seriously he couldn't make the squad for 2014. Allegedly he doesn't want to retire yet, will be interesting to see which is his next club.
  22. Just learned Stuttgart are now the 8th German football club with over 100k members after Bayern, Dortmund, Schalke, Köln, Frankfurt, HSV, and Gladbach. It's remarkable two of these 8 clubs are 2.Liga clubs with Schalke and HSV, if Köln are relegated it will be even 3 next season.
  23. Although not sharing your sentiment, Mourinho at Bayern would be a good laugh, am quite sure you can stay calm. I'd bet all my money on Hoeneß begging his nephew on his knees to manage Bayern before even considering Mourinho.
  24. Due to dilapidation of a Bremer Brücke, Osnabrück's stadium, roof the match vs Schalke on the 4th has been rescheduled and relocated spatially to St Pauli's Millerntor on Tuesday, the 7th. Therefore next matchday's table update will be on that evening.
