  1. Apparently you one of those people who are satisfied with little, if you suppose the defending champions were happy with a 2-1 borefest against a team playing as bad as Scotland. I'd be fuming with that match not being much more convincing given how garbage Albania was.
  2. Well, if Scotland will finish on 3rd spot, which is the best they can hope for, since Switzerland are vastly superior judging them on yesterday, than it's goal difference for them to decide which 3rd team advance , when on the same points. So it's not that much of s small deal.
  3. Switzerland will be a tougher test. Whether that's true for Hungary also is yet to be seen.
  4. Not saying it is, just wondering whether it might. Edit: Apparently it hasn't - kicker are now reporting Hummels would have to leave Dortmund.
  5. Wondering about two things. 1) Does this have to do with Hummels allegedly telling the club it would be either him or Terzic? 2) If this allegation is true, who the fuck gives such explosive internal club information to media outlets?
  6. You're aware there's a reason why most liberal parties are placed on the right side of the parliament in those parliaments with those parliaments where the speaker(s) are seated in front of the deputies? Yes, because liberals are right of the centre. Only the US where no real left wing exists call liberals left. So no not leftist, although liberal. To the bolded part, since when is equality a right wing thing. The very right Kingdom of Prussia even had the three class voting right, where the richest part on inhabitants that owned a of the countries part third got 3 votes, that part that belong to thios class but owned together with 2 third of the countries wealth got 2, and the remainder more than 50 % of the population got 1. And before you're arguing these times were long gone: may I remind you of South African apartheid which was a right wing system? Or would you prefer me to refer to the US race segration? Equality a far right thing, really you're suffering with political right left weahness.
  7. Globalism,as it's practiced, is first and foremost a capitalist wet dream and therefore not leftist. You're mixing up globalism with internationalism which are inherently different things. As said many times before read some political theory.
  8. Quite confident I'll survive it.
  9. Intrigued by this. Nice to have Klose in the top 2 tier managers. Wish him well, would be good , if former record champions Nürnberg had more more success than they did recently, wouldn't mind them in Buli.
  10. To be fair, it's far from being the BBC only: Perhaps I'm unfair, yet under the impression media in general are happy to feign concern and outrage about far right opinions while simultanously giving them a lot of room for expression.
  11. Germany 3-1 Scotland Hungary 0-1 Switzerland Spain 0-0 Croatia Italy 4-1 Albania Slovenia 0-2 Denmark Serbia 1-4 England Poland 2-1 Netherlands Romania 1-1 Ukraine Belgium 2-1 Slovakia Austria 0-1 France Turkey 5-0 Georgia Portugal 2-3 Czech Republic
  12. Group A: 1)Germany, 2)Switzerland, 3)Scotland Group B: 1) Spain, 2) Croatia, 3) Italy Group C 1) England, 2) Denmark, 3)Serbia Group D : 1) France, 2) Austria, 3) Poland Group E: 1) Belgium, 2) Slovakia, 3) Ukraine Group F: 1) Czech Republic, 2) Portugal, 3) Turkey Tournament Winners: Croatia Golden Boot: Harry Kane
  13. So Bayern's sport director Max Eberl said literally: " Kompany wasn't the first name on our list." Him just approving what everyone already knew aside, that's a double edgeg statement. Of course it's honest and spares Bayern a lot of mockery they had got, if they called Kompany the manager they were looking for right from the beginning. Flip side of the coin he implicitly gives players an excuse and fans an aim for their frustration should things go tits down before the season even began. Wouldn't want to be in Kompany's shoes at this point of time, to be fair.
  14. You would be surprised, arms manufacturerare among the best paying companies in Germany and still all have that issue. Apparently money isn't everything that counts, after all. Edit: On a sidenote, Rheinmetall are apparently serious about their sports washing, since they signed a sponsoring contract with an ice hockey first tier team as well.
  15. Think it's more about trying to get rid of the villain image arms manufacturer have, rightfully so, in peoples mind. Seem to remember having read Rheinmetall's CEO saying something of trying to attract people to apply for a job , who wouldn't consider working for an arms manufacturer a few month ago, since they were having difficulties to fill their work force.
  16. Knew you wouldn't know Lena Nitro. She's famous for hardcore rather than for showing her feet.
  17. In Germany there was an extra rule.: no corner kicks- ball for defending team instead, three potential corner kicks resulted in a penalty for the attacking team, though.
  18. On a sidenote for people, who don't follow German football news. With all justified rejection of Borussia Dortmund's decision we can't spare DFB from criticism neither, given they banned former Buli team Homburg from being sponsored by condom manufacturer London at the end of the 8ties and amateur club SF Oberwürzbach from being sponsored by a porno star around last decade, with the justification such sponsoring wouldn't be compatible with DFB's moral values. Being sponsored by an arms manufacturer is, though?
  19. Most big enterprises are debatable from an ethical view, granted. Still an arms manufacturer is yet another quality of evil than eg Siemens and many others.
  20. Yep, they did. Wouldn't be surprised if they lost a good numbers of their members over this, rightfully so I've to add.
