  1. Wasn't me, who dragged about their defense being amazeballs, though.
  2. So let's see Germany had 2.03 conceded xG's and and conceded 2, which is less than expected- while England had 0.98 conceded xG and conceded 1, which is more than expected, doesn'rt sound like their defense were that well, ssince they conceded more than they were expected to, so they were underwhelming. Change my mind!
  3. A question out of curiosity: A German paper are reporting Southgate had said England created plenty of chances in an interview after the match. Did he indeed?
  4. Alternatively the most balanced one in terms of the team's quality.
  5. You mean like the English fans did let go the dodgy decision in their fgavour in 1966?
  6. Congrats on winning the group. England NT is set up to convince a football addict they should do withdrawal, though.
  7. @Michael You only posted once. Can I conclude from that this match is as dull as that at Cologne?
  8. And that's the point where the two of us indeed disagree whilst you're saying they lost because they went all out to win it, my point of view is they either went out because they didn't or they are that utterly abysmal they've lost to Hungary regardless of any other result. If the going all out to win is resulting in the first shot on goal (not on target) happens in the second half than you're rife for a loss. In this case your opponent is that superior they'll win anyway no matter how you approach the respective match, to be completely honest.
  9. They had also more points if they hadn't lost against Germany, so why is the draw with Switzerland not being a win more important than the loss against Germany not being a win? Genuine question?
  10. Are you trying to tell me Scotland lost the match yesterday because they tried so hard to win and were countered? Scotland had their first chance in the second half in a must win match, mind. If anything they'd played even less adventurous if they'd won the match against Switzerland.
  11. Even if they'd won against Switzerland that loss had seen them efinish their group on 4th spot. However you look at it the loss against Hungary was the decessive match. And no Scotland wouldn't have become a better side by some weird magic if the'd won against Switzerland.
  12. Independance is kind of weird, sovereignity would have been a weirder way. Statehood is probably the best way to describe it.
  13. Croatia had independance then. Germany dissolved the former kingdom of Yudgoslavia, when they invaded it,and formed the states of Croatia, Slovenia and Serbia.Croatian Ustasa government was a very close ally to the Axis powers. Always perplexed how little most Britons know about their opponents during WWII, given how proud they're about their part in the Allied forces win.
  14. After England drew with them I'd like to switch to Denmark, please.
  15. Switzerland 1-2 Germany Scotland 0-1 Hungary Croatia 1-3 Italy Spain 2-1 Albania England 0-1 Slovenia Denmark 2-1 Serbia Netherlands 2-2 Austria France 2-0 Poland Ukraine 2-1 Belgium Slovakia 2-2 Romania Czech Republic 1-0 Turkey Georgia 0-2 Portugal
  16. Sorry, since I always forgot to change my team I'm pulling out.
  17. What I don't understand is with that criminal record it should not be a problem to get a job as eg a bouncer.
  18. Can se him rest those players, who already received a yellow card. Don't think there will be much more of a rotation, of course only my opinion.
  19. Sorry, still explain how you can say you'd expect a draw against Hungary and in the very same say a win versus Switzerland, whoo are a better team than Hungary would have been essential? It's more essential to win against worse teams than it to win against better ones, isn't it?
  20. Germany 3-1 Hungary Scotland 0-3 Switzerland Croatia 2-1 Albania Spain 3-0 Italy Slovenia 0-1 Serbia Denmark 2-2 England Poland 0-2 Austria Netherlands 1-1 France Slovakia 0-0 Ukraine Belgium 3-1 Romania Georgia 1-4 Czech Republic Turkey 0-1 Portugal
  21. There is a difference, though. Palestine never existed as a souvereign state contrary to Lithuania.
