  7. Regardless whether this special graffiti does or doesn't exist, this combination of the words posted on x and legit is beyond laughable for somebody doubting the believebality of news channels.
  8. @Viva la FCB, @Coma Can you tell me something about Emmanuel Iwe from Minnesota United? Read he had a trial at FCS this week. Saw he only played 3 matches with their first team, when googling him. That doesn't look that promessing in combination with him having to go through a trial?
  9. Bernd Hölzenbein, who's dive during the WC 74 final match versus the Netherlands, only enabled Paul Breitner to equalize the match through a penalty has died at the age of 78. RIP Eintracht Frankfurt and Germany legend. On a side note this mentioned dive was the reason the German term "Schwalbe" was adopted in the Netherlands for a dive. Not sure any other footballer caused the introduction of a football term from one language into an other with a single action. That alone is outstanding in itself.
  10. I've gotten used to show the same respect towards the English Premier league as most of the English members around here show towards the Buli, since you have to take what you dish out. "It resounds from the forest as you ccall into it" to use a German speech. And no, I don't think West Ham are as weak as Ratingen, don't think their performance in the first leg, or their performances versus Freiburg while we're at it were good enough to worry Leverkusen either, though. I'd rather rest Wirtz for the matches in Dortmund and at home against Stuttgart, since I rate both teams better, and this is indeed my opinion.
  11. After having seen the first match: Where does this come from? Even Sandhausen in DFB-Pokal played better against Leverkusen than West Ham, to be honest. Granted it took Leverkusen a while to score, still a 0-0 is enough and West Ham were as dangerous as my dead grandmother throughout the match. I(f I were Alonso I'd rest players in this match even when my next opponent were Ratingen in a friendly.
  12. Can see him turning down Bayern , if an other club of International reputation, naming Barcelona amongst others come asking, though.
  13. Agree with almost all what you wrote, yet could imagine they don't focus only on the two competitions you mentioned. It's at least imaginable this winning the league without a single loss is also a goal, since it's unprecetended in Buli's history, that no teams like to lose aside.
  14. Well then you're better than Kane, who obviously couldn't.
  15. After the 32nd matchday ref Speckner received a death threat by a lunatic. Now a suspect has been investigated. Hopefully they'll feel all the possible hardness a German laws, if found guilty.
  16. Nils Petersen said he wished Bayern would win the CL, because- wait for it- he doesn't want to lose his unique selling point as being the last footballer, who played at least one season for Bayern without winning any silver ware in his whole career to Kane.
  17. Kind of: Hamburger SV won the title 1922/23 undefeated, that was a) before the foundation of the Bundesliga, b) before the DFB-Pokal has been established, c) and of course long before somebody thought of European competitions, though. It's actually quite surprising no team remained undefeated for a season since Buli's implementation nor the great 70's Bayern team, that won 3 European cups in a row , or their Gladbach counterpart, neither Guardiola's Bayern team.
  18. Was about time somebody ended Bayern's streak. Bit ironic it's Neverkusen off all teams! Congrats!
  19. Very good matchday for us as a group for a change! Matchday 29 1) 6666 15 points 2) Bluewolf 13 points 3) Coma 9 points 3) Michael 9 points 5) Rucksackfranzose 8 points 5) Tommy 8 points 5) Viva la FCB 8 points 8- CaaC(John) 7 points 8- Stan 7 points Three more players passed the 200 points mark. Table after 29 matchdays 1) @Tommy 209 points 2) @Stan 206 points 3) @Viva la FCB 202 points 4) @6666 201 points 5) @Michael 199 points 6) @Bluewolf 196 points 7) @Coma 182 points 8- Rucksackfranzose 164 points 9) @CaaC (John) 155 points 10) @nawoo 149 points
  20. Leverkusen 4-0 with 5min plus injury time still to go. They're German champs 2024! Congrats!
  21. Bluewolf's perfect Kiel 4-0 Osnabrück score is prediction of the matchday. Also remarkable Stan's the first player this season to score 8 points on a matchday without a single perfect score in this league. Matchday 29 1) Bluewolf 10 points 2) Stan 8 points 2) Tommy 8 points 4) Coma 7 points 5) CaaC(John) 6 points 6) Michael 5 points 6) Rucksackfranzose 5 points 8- Viva la FCB 4 points The 2 leaders now are feeling the hot breath of the midtable players in their necks. Table after 29 matchdays 1) @Michael 180 points 2) @Viva la FCB 177 points 3) @Bluewolf 174 points 4) @Coma 172 points 4) @Tommy 172 points 6) @Stan 171 points 7) @CaaC (John) 170 points 8- Rucksackfranzose 147 points 9) @londonerlilie 122 points 9) @nawoo 122 points
  22. I'd rather say this obsession with strong leaders and strong leadership is a part of the problem rather than its solution, to be absolutely honest. If neither the former and reigning israeli PMs nor the former and reigning Palestinian representives had always been so busy to demonstrate "strong leadership" a compromise could have been found decades ago.
